    The average family home contains thousands of items that are not really needed, and living in all the clutter is making us miserable. But imagine if every single item in your home were laid out before you, so you could decide what to keep and what to lose. Tidying guru extraordinaire Stacey Solomon has put together a crack team of organising fanatics who will help a family transform their messy home through a life-changing declutter and a budget-friendly makeover. After spending far too long in our houses, it’s time for a supersized spring clean!
    Stacey and her gang (organiser Dilly, carpenter Rob and cleaner Iwan) challenge the Yaku family to sort their life out in seven days - and in order to do this, they’ll have to embark on a mammoth declutter. Stacey asks the family to try to let go of half their possessions, so they can then reorganise the house.
    We get to know the family behind the clutter - hospital director Tash, tube driver Lawrence and their four kids - and find out why their home is making them miserable. There are emotional moments as the family go through treasured items, and friction develops as they must decide what to part with. The items they do decide to let go of will be put into piles to recycle, donate or sell.
    Rob breathes new life into some of the family’s most precious household items and offers up ingenious storage solutions, such as hidden drawers in stairs and making a work station from an old kitchen pantry. Iwan gives the home a supersized spring clean, with lots of useful tips along the way, and Dilly shows us all the best way to sort our kids' toys and kitchen cupboards.
    When the family are left with only the must-keep items, the house is stylishly refilled by Stacey and her team, ready for the big reveal. Have they really managed to transform the home by decluttering, organising and upcycling alone?

    he's very good with a sock on his hand.
    Organization looks good on paper, is gorgeous when it gets set up and a nightmare to maintain. you have to LIVE Organized, you can't just set it up and expect it to go on by itself.

      agree, but it's a lot easier to maintain if you start fresh instead of chaos

      Yep, it helps for the first week or so and gradually ends up in chaos again if you’ve got a disorganised brain like me 😒 Some of us are naturally neat and organised, but then they expect that to be easy for everyone which it isn’t. I do try as best as I can, but tend to put more energy into bathroom and kitchen cleanliness as a day to day thing, deep sort outs I like to be on my own to do to get stuck in properly, which is a rare thing when you’ve got kids. Otherwise you’re stopping to cook and then clean up the kitchen every couple of hours and sorry but that’s too much distraction for me to handle 😄

    I love the tilted shelf with the curtain rod idea!! I remember Stacey when she was on Britain's Got Talent. I'm in the US, did she become famous after that show?

      Yeah, she sure got famous for not having a very exciting life. How could you possibly come up with the idea to Loïse your time hanging up your soups?
      Please note in these kitchens there is no fresh food in sight on any counter You get canned, powdered and glutenized ( pasta) all right.
      Let's consider how often we enjoy fresh foodprepared from scratch, as compared to using ingredients older than 2 days.

    • @ilikepeasandtoast
      @ilikepeasandtoast Рік тому +1

      @@PS-bs8oe fruit, vegetables, meat, etc are usually stored in the fridge. And probably if you know you are going to be on a tv show you would either use up fresh food or they would throw these items away as they perish during the time it takes to film. but it's nice to be really judgemental and nitpick every last detail about people's lives, isn't it? :)

      在整個人類歷史上,強者,富人和具有狡猾特質的人捕食部落,氏族,城鎮,城市和鄉村中的弱者,無`'守和貧窮成員。然而,人類的生存意願迫使那些被拒絕,被剝奪或摧毀的基本需求的人們找到了一種生活方式,並繼續將其DNA融入不斷發展的人類社會。
      說到食物,不要以為那些被拒絕的人只吃垃圾。相反,他們學會了在被忽視的肉類和蔬菜中尋找營養。他們學會了清潔,切塊,調味和慢燉慢燉的野菜和肉類,在食品市場上被忽略的部分家用蔬菜和肉類,並且學會了使用芳香的木煙(如山核桃,山核桃和豆科灌木
