I just found out that I have focal IM in the antrum . I was negative for h pylori I don’t smoke for 10 years and I barely drink maybe 2-3 times a year and very minimal . I had chemo for Hodgkin’s lymphoma 10 years ago . I rarely take ibruprophin what could be the cause of this and how can I reverse it
Hi Doctor, great and reassuring video.. You say the risk is 0.5% is this statistical for complete IM or Incomplete IM or is it a combination for both types?
Hello Doctor. The result of my biopsy says that I have atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia in the gastric body, and positive helicobacter pylori. In my case, are the risks of this becoming cancer very high?
@@drdesmondwaigastro4833 thanks! I have erosive gastritis, non atrophic, and without the h pylori, but with intestinal metaplasia. is that dangerous? searching about it, I found out that the intestinal metaplasia is much more common in the non-erosive and atrophic gastritis, am I right? the intestinal metaplasia appearing in the erosive non-atrophic gastritis is more or less dangerous?
Hi doctor, a polypoid tissue was detected in my duodenum during endoscopy and the biopsy result revealed FOVEOLAR METAPLASİA. Also chronic gastritis were detected but h. pylori negative. What does this mean? Is it something dangerous? Does it turn into cancer? What do you suggest me? Thanks
If you had stomach cancer with atrophic gastritis and had part of the stomach removed what’s left is now intestinal metaplasia and a few polyps top test benign goin in to take all out what the odds bottom have is cancerous
Peace be upon you, Doctor, is this curable? CONCLUSION:A/ Lesions of chronic antral gastritis, in moderate activity, moderately atrophic, with focal lesions of intestinal metaplasia and presence of HP(+). B/ Chronic fundic gastritis lesions in mild activity, non-atrophic, without lesions intestinal metaplasia and presence of HP(+
