In classic black and white, the airy suit enhances the sense of freedom and is both fashion statement and weather-wear. Depending on conditions, it warms or cools the user. While the diagonal zipper across the chest is reminiscent of traditional motorcycle clothing, the flexible, banded structure of the suit and shoes is inspired by the muscle areas of the human body and provides body support and relief whenever needed.
At higher speeds, the neck section inflates to provide extra support for the upper vertebrae and improve overall comfort. Variable openings offer additional ventilation. Unlike present-day suits, however, the futuristic outfit for riders of the
BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100 offers no safety features, because the bike’s intelligent assistance systems make them superfluous. Instead, sensors in the suit keep track of the wearer’s pulse rate and body temperature and provide the right level of heat or cold. The suit also delivers navigation instructions via the vibrating elements in the arms and legs, and alerts the rider when the banking angle is becoming critical. I am telling you this because 30 years ago I had a massive motorbike accident; a massive lorry comes in front of my bike in my line and I had only time to jump at 80 mph! I have been 4 years in several hospitals, making 12 operations and 3 years in physiotherapy! And 30 years later I am a disabled person doing this massive accident, in a wheelchair with extreme pain all the time even take 120 mg of morphine every day! And if this marvelous of motorbike technology existed at that time it same my life and thousands of others that had motorbike accidents, that or had died or are massively disable, which ad a tremendous difference in terms of social, and financial for persons, families, and countries! So, please, please, BMW and other motorbike makers that already ad copy this marvelous technology, and put in massive production, please? That will save millions of lives every year! A self balancing bike seems like it would fight the rider when taking corners. If the balancing feature only comes on at extremely low speeds or when stopped I think it could be useful. But even low speed maneuvering seems like it would be hindered by this.
Usefull, if you can t balance yaself at low speed on two wheels. whell, just take it easy and just ride one more (at least ) or keep training
Does seem weird. I feel like it would make more sense if the bike somehow compensated for excessive lean. Would have been more impressive if the woman leaned all the way to the side, but the bike didn't fall over.

you could make so the balancing system would be more oriented to the back wheel, and add a computer system to adujust that feature, taking in count general balance and how you make turns, aswell using the speedometer so it will assist your turning
My current BMW doesn't self balance but rather holds...a lean, this would likely be similar. If I tuck a corner at. 45° angle itll hold that corner until I correct it.

For a motorcycle video, I saw a lot of it NOT MOVING. I give two shits about the lady on it, this video tells me nothing about the machine.
Give me a good ole fashioned bike with a carb, fuel, oil and having to use your wits, skill and alertness as a rider to enjoy riding and to stay safe on the road. This is a very interesting looking bike, pretty to be sure but with all of its bells and whistles, it has no personality or character, a beautiful can opener. I enjoy working on my ride, tuning the carb, changing the oil, readjusting the tension on the chain, lubing it up, adjusting tension on shocks, etc, etc. With these super tech bikes, all that goes out the window, they probably take care of themselves, just no fun in my opinion, half of the joy in riding is taking care of your ride yourself. Soon these super bikes will probably ride themselves and all you do is hop on and take a nap, ridiculous.

I have learnt from a number of skilled drivers here and in Pakistan how to ride 50-500 CC motorbikes and police bikes aswell as Rickshaws and quads in Marrakesh Atlas mountain areas ..

This is a very bad idea. Very few riders ride the way the model was positioned for any length of time. Lots of riders ride one handed which may trip the turn signal. The frontal zone looks very flat and on a high cross wind could snag enough air to change your course. The tires will catapult small rocks at other riders and vehicles behind the bike.
If companies and inventors thought like some of the armchair critics on here, we’d all be still in horse and carriages.
Remember it was Gottlieb Daimler of Germany invented the first gas-engined motorcycle so be grateful he did, let’s have less slagging off the Germans

I subsequently went back to Honda because they are reliable.

I like the fact that the engine adjusts at the end of the vid. It means were totally ready for helmets that come with the vehicle which we wear on our upper back in compact form or as part of a suit. The helmet at the push of a button surrounds our head part by part locking in place much like we see in the movies. 👍
