    One thing I would have done in your kitchen... I've seen it in another kitchen, on your coffee bar I would have made the door slide into the side of the cabinet. Then you could leave it open while using it during a party etc. Then just pull them out and close them really easy.

      I was about to comment the same thing. Similar to the old TV cabinets that used to have door slides to keep them out of the way.

      Yes I always say that to myself when I see her open those doors ‼️ I believe she might still be able to have the doors do it .. me hoping and praying she sees your comment and tackles the project - oh that would make me so happy 😊

      It's Bern suggested many times, I think even before it was complete. I don't think she cared about doing that. The doors don't get in her way.

    I think you should hang the hose nozzle out the opening you made in the back of the shed. If your nozzle starts to leak, you’ll have a puddle in your shed. Just a thought.😊

    Don’t kick yourself for not having gotten stuff done this past year. You were pregnant and had a baby. You’re doing great getting back on track. I’m a lot like you about being productive and getting stuff done. I made long lists daily on what I needed to get done. You are doing remarkably well getting your content for vlogs/videos done AND getting the house back in order from a major reno and the holidays. You are doing great and I love your content! Thanks for your hard work as I’m too old to work that hard anymore but it’s nice living through you lol! I feel complete at the end of the day knowing you are finishing everything I want to get done lmao!

      You never saw my parents' garage! It has finished, plastered walls and ceiling, and built-in maple kitchen cabinets along the back, counters and all. There is some open shelving along part of one wall and a rack for tall tools like shovels and rakes. It was always spotless - even the floor!! My mother would not be happy to see the cobwebs in the corners and dead leaves that have blown in here and there now that I live there! I sweep it out and stuff it up once a year and wipe down the counters a couple of times a year. Every couple of years I wipe down the cabinets and hit them with Method Wood For Good and call it done. I haven't washed the floor in 6 years.

    The lighting that you added is a luxury item that home as gorgeous as yours would be expected to have. Despite that you are not selling this home any time soon if you ever wanted to the home would read as a fully designed home. Thus hopefully getting a better offer with your high end finishes.
    I like the shed I would just worry about it having the indoor decor that you have curated for your home. Whereas the outdoor lights and decor are designed for more inclement weather. I just worry about mold with the hose moisture.

  • @crystalpowers5648
    @crystalpowers5648 Годину тому +3

    The shed is really cute, but it’s not meant to store precious things like Christmas decorations. Those are better off, stored in a climate controlled room, not an outdoor outdoor shed that leaks or has the potential to leak and humidity and heat.😊

      The good news is they live in Los Angeles, so they don’t get a ton of rain or high temperatures, so it should all be okay. I lived in the same area for many years & never had a problem storing things in my outdoor shed 😊

    It’s currently 10* degrees in middle Tennessee and extremely bitter cold..my dogs are wearing me out, they want in,they want out.. so I’m constantly up and down.. I have a similar shed and I store China and other dishes in bins just like yours.. we are looking for a larger home and with a move in our future, I’ve been carefully packing our most fragile things and putting them where they will be safest.. oh,lord, praying this will be the last move, it’s so much work..

    If your Christmas decorations are precious to you, you might want to NOT store them outdoors in the shed. That shed is not weatherproof. Moisture, bugs, spiders, slugs, mice, and mildew will get to your decorations out there in the elements. The shed might better be used to store outdoor holiday decorations (ex. Halloween & reindeer. etc) thus freeing up space in the garage for your more delicate indoor Xmas decs. where they'll be better protected.

    Hi MaCenna ! Love you and your content !!! Agree with someone else about caulking all the seams in your new shed and I was also thinking you could make a shelf-like support to hold at least 1 more of your storage bins to get the most use out of that space . You know how they have those things for your kitchen cabinets to be able to stack things better . Not a very good explanation but just another idea for you ( like you actually need more ideas than you already have - LOL 😂 ) Take care and God bless you !
