People may disregard camry and criticize it for being used as a Taxi in Dubai but this car used to be and still is a "Dream Car" for many people. Many people who have been struggling in the UAE since the early 80s-90s know the value of owning a camry.
Toyota Camry truly fares well overall. It looks smashing, is extremely practical and is super silent and smooth on the go as well. the 8 year unlimited km warranty just accentuates its desirability quotient giving buyers a preference over other sedans. What stands as a speed breaker in its path though, is going to be the CVT gearbox with its rubber band effect and the lackluster steering wheel offering no response around corners. The additional sum of close to AED 40K which consumers have to shell out might seem to cost a hole on pocket but perhaps, that is the price one has to pay for the extremely calm and well poised driving experience and the luxury it has on offer which can outclass cars belonging to a segment above. In my opinion, it makes sense going for the hybrid trim despite being appallingly expensive as one can get exceptional levels of fuel efficiency setting it apart from all its rivals and when wanting to drive enthusiastically, can switch to the normal mode for the exhaust note. Having sat in a Taxi, I was blown away by how well its suspension set up soaked the bumps and the refinement which was surreal. People drive a lot in this part of the world and might as well cover the additional 318K kms in a Camry without any fuss at all. I also have to report that the air conditioning system of the car works brilliantly well cooling it in just a few seconds. Sure, for this price, there are many luxury alternatives available but neither of them are as pragmatic, environment friendly or offer such bells and whistles as the Camry does and certainly not as nimble and efficient as the Camry. Being a Toyota, it boasts of reliability, low service and maintenance costs, a good mileage and resale value in addition to other advantages which makes it one of the most enticing packages and should definitely be one of the serious considerations.
I don't know to which cars you compare, when you say "and is super silent", but I have to strongly disagree. The car has awful noise coming from tires and also clearly audible wind noise. If a car interior noise is over 70.5 - 71.5 db (at 100 km/h), then it is far from silent. I had previously Volkswagen Passat 2015 model, and it had superior noise insulation, compared to the new Camry, and it's price was then just a fraction more than Camry's.
Hey Aadinath, We've done a review of the 3.5L V6 Camry a few years ago. Not much has changed since then, you can watch that review here: ua-cam.com/video/uap1zd408H8/v-deo.html We have also done a review of the Camry vs the Accord, you can watch that here: ua-cam.com/video/yXbvHC_TFNQ/v-deo.html
Hi Kashif, Neither, here in the UAE the Camry Hybrid gets a CVT. You can see more specs about the car at the end of the video or by clicking here: uae.yallamotor.com/new-cars/toyota/camry/2-5l-hybrid-204-hp
@@tanvirina do you think people buy camry for accelartion? And the 8 speed is much faster . V6 engine US specs has 301 hp but in gcc it has somewhere near 267 hp

R H I am specifically referring to the Camry hybrid and not comparing it with any other sedan as none of them have a hybrid motor.
Are you sure about the price difference mentioned ?
I think you are referring to the standard LE (82k) vs the hybrid.

Great review
Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed it.
@@YallaMotorEnglish is this the only spec of hybrid available?
How much more expensive is the hybrid compared to the non hybrid model with the same specs?
Hi Skek,
Approxmately 20,000 to 25,000 Dirhams. You can find the exact pricing on your local dealer's website.
I love this car in 2021 toyota camry
Dear, what is difference between Camry Hybrid 2019 & 2020
Hi Mahend,
There is no difference between both year models, the car hasn't received any upgrades for 2020.
Could you do a video on the normal toyota camry 2020

Super
It's as efficient as a regular camry?!
Even more so, John.
This returns better fuel efficiency than the standard Camry.
8 or 6 transmission?

mileage??
Hi Yasin,
Official numbers are 4.5L / 100km.

The standard car has 8 speed automatic dude get your facts right lmao
[Zaran] Hey Real Time,
The standard car in the UAE receives a 6-speed automatic.
@@YallaMotorEnglish ohhh that's a big let down shame that gcc specs are so backward totally shame
REAL TIME the 6 speed has agressive gearing ratio which makes the car accelerate faster . The 8 speed is good for fuel economy
@@tanvirina do you think people buy camry for accelartion? And the 8 speed is much faster . V6 engine US specs has 301 hp but in gcc it has somewhere near 267 hp
REAL TIME not true. You have some wrong informations here. The 4 cylinder has 6 speed but the v6 camry has 8 speed and full 301 hp same as US.
