I may have been gotten too excited at the 2nd part of the raid. Gunlancer is just too fun sometimes. I'll tone down the cursing on next series of videos!
As you guys are wondering why I am so tanky, I am actually a little overlevel for the dungeon so it's a little bit exaggerated. However you will all have the same playstyle if you build your character properly. Shield will be massive all the time if you play correctly.

the coolest thing is that gunlancer take boss damage head on without being afraid to die thats why i play gunlancer. when everyone is running and dodging every attack while gunlancer just shield up and just continue attacking. Thats badass

I love your gunlancer video's definitely helped me figured out most of the issues i was having, i think for the time being until i get better gear and higher stats, ill have to play a little more safe and use abilities like counter-gunlance for extra defense while also using charged gunlance and surge cannon to supplement damage

I have serious mana issues with gunlancer, do you have any advices on that ATK? judgment and conviction runes are so hard to get.. so are focus runes

blue is specalization, red is crit and swiftness, it should be in details on part 2

what's your opinion on red build? Is it getting depreciated or am I just overthinking it and gunlancer just doesn't die either build?
red is also very tanky, but need to be more mobile (he is more mobile) to aim all his guns at the boss's head. He's more of a burst dps.

Which engravings do u suggest for 1370 blue gunlancer? I have combat 1, stabilized and barricade 3 at the moment.

My taunt doesn't get me full shield as yours and i have problems keeping the shield up during raids
i think that's down to your secondary stats, iirc specialization will help you build shield charge more and endurance will allow you to have stronger shields, also remember blue skills generate more shield energy than orange skills, and some of the blue skills let you spec for more energy generations.
you need a lot of specialization becuase it impacts shield gain.

how does wealth rune interact with gunlancer skills, ive tried putting it on shout of hatred, but it dont seem to have a difference.

First time watching this, seriously thinking about changing to Blue because as Red and being slow I die before ghost phase. Although Blue is a gigachad character seems easy for people with zero skills in raid like me xD

Just change mentality. If you using a char opposite of your gender, you call that char your "companion" thru adventuring. If that char is the same as your gender, then you call him your "Avatar," easy peasy.

This is tier 3 raids? I look forward to when I can get that tanky with gunlancer, chose this class to start with after watching your guides. Using his shield charge to dodge attacks still feels awkward to me though so any suggestions?

Hi, ATK. Which classes do you think have the most unique playstyles?
Since gunlancer seems like the only class that can just stand there and take hits, I imagine it's a really unique playstyle. Also, deadeye/gunslinger because their effectiveness is based on juggling 16 skills.
most unique playstyle is a class called Arcana, but it's not out yet. your thoughts on GS etc are correct. Lancemaster which is not also out is same case as well (weapon swapping)

You beat him with 1 second left on berserk. You couldn't have done it any closer lol. One of the issues I'm having is not using surge cannon as a blue gun lancer. I do no damage without it. Is that just because at this tier (1) you don't have enough spec to have your blue skills do enough damage? If so, what spec rating do you think I could get rid of it for another blue damage ability?
In early tiers gunlancers dmg isn't great anyway. Your build depends on skillpoints, stats, engravings. I had in t1 like 260-270sp, full spec on all accessories, necklace spec+crit. Got combat readiness engraving two slots +3 in stats. Good early engraving is lightning fury, sice we spam alot and it stacks quickly with decent dmg. Imo ideal cheap engravings will be lvl1 combat, and whatever much you can get of barricade+lightning Fury. At least lvl1 in each. For skills, dont dump surge, lvl7 bash max out surge, cross lightning, leap, shield charge. Points go in approximately this order of priority. I personally dont run nelassa all the time, only if boss needs cleanse or in cubes. Kinda greedy, but id prefer to stagger boss with surge, other that shield useless teammates. This point is debatable, maybe later ill use more nelassa, when parties will get better and atleast wont run away from stagger checks

Later on, supports will provide you additional atkspeed and movspeed as wrll
Playing gunlancer from release and it is the most one I have fun. Surge canon or the charged stinger feels cool... With not having those skills I feel not that much dmg :/ Could u tell me if it is playable those 2 skills with blue lancer?
unfortunately you will need to choose either lancer skills only or normal skills only

yes every class is viable for very end legion raids

My main in the game is a bard, and my first alt is gunslinger. Now I'm making a second alt as gunlancer just because tanky boii. The gameplay for all 3 characters I have gonna be so damn different 😂

you need to progress the games and as you get more specalization stat you will gain more shield as you use taunt etc. Runes in the other hand are collectables only time can solve.

More spec you have higher it fills

that's called a esther skill, raid leader can use it for strategies

as you progress through the game, you will reach higher ilvl and better gears/accessories and collectables. battle level is like a tutorial.

Do you play Red Gunlancer? Does it perform the same?
I did play red gunlancer before, the playstyle changes a little bit, you have less shield and you would need to move to the head of the boss to deal more damage. Damages would also be bursts not consistent.
Can you show me how to use the red skill for counter?
it gives a lot of shield so it's preferred to use it earlier than used to

Question: Do you recommend soloing Guardian Raids? I been pugging it because I don't know if I can handle it solo, but Pugs have its downsides as well. Wonder what you recommend.
Really appreciate the info, it helped me decide between red and blue. Although, the big numbers from red is very addicting. lol
Pugs are tough in NA becuase there arn't many people who are good due to the game being new. perhaps joining a guild or a solid group going might help the gameplay
A caveat, gunlancer is a Chad when late. But a PAIN in lower level.

You make it seem so easy! guess the biggest part is actually knowing the fights. My Gunlancer is only 420, got smashed/died so many times on guardian 380 & 420 dungeons......
Suggestion (only personal opinion):
Record gameplay first, commentate after so you can concentrate on each one. Might improve video flow and you can go over decisions and thought patterns easier.
