Man I have some ancestor stories and confirmations( tapping on windows) that tripped me out. One time I needed something to rule in my favor and I put down my transitioned grandmothers favorite food(Green Chiles, green onions and scrambled eggs).I placed it down and spoke to her. Bout 3 days later. We literally could smell her perfume that lingered for a few days around the altar and the washroom and what I asked for happened with more blessings that happen to this very day in passive cash flow. The ancestors are the truth kinfolks.

I've had an altar for a year now, more or less. I have pictures, water, candy and liquor as well as a few other items I was lead to put up there. I usually keep an apple for an energy source. The water serves as a conduit to communicate with the ancestors. I can tell a huge difference in myself! I feel psychic and my intuition is on point! I get downloads of info from my ancestors. It feels good to have back up!

I started burning ancestor money a few months ago. I haven't felt much from my ancestors after I started (like no financial blessings or connections etc). I'm still going to burn it for them with love no matter what, it doesn't matter if they give me anything in return. I also burn joss paper for a deceased boyfriend and his family- he actually came to me in a dream, he was holding all the money in his hand and was showing me. It was nice my ex-boyfriend did that for me.

This a new perspective because I was taught our spirit is what our physical personality was and when we die it goes away and only our soul is left so that’s why I never thought to honor ancestors of immediate family because I thought their memories of me and their “ego” in a sense was gone

Bro Yosef I am from the Tribe of Mexicah and we have Calaveras on our Ofrendas. I have a big beautiful custom made Sugar Skull for each one of my immediate family and grand parents smaller ones for aunts and uncle friends. They are decorated with their names and things they liked like my moms has a cup of coffee and the rising Sun in her favorite colors. My brother's has Cannibis leaves and Harley Davidson wings on the back of his Skull and motorcycles for eye brows. Badass! We make them out of real Sugar bc the Ancestors come and smell and Enjoy the aroma of Sugar it pleases them. Smells so good to sit and chill at their altar. Got my blood smeared on their pics. I have had mine up for 2 yrs now only one in my family and my dad's dad my grandfather whom I never met came thru when I was burning his money to him. I was shook wept and laughed. He came thru!, he walked up to me and I KNEW oh shit this is my Papa Esteban. A family friend whom I honor too walked up and we talked briefly but my whole kitchen disappeared it was just us 2 standing there laughing and talking on Mothers Day. Lately I have been making a spell casted mix of the ash of the money I burn coffee grounds and ground up egg shells and I feed it to my plants BOOM they grow super strong and bloomed!
