When I run my C# windows form application that contains Crystal Report. It's asking me to enter the credential for the MySQL db every time. Even though I entered the correct user name and password. it is saying my user name or password is wrong. I have checked the credential many times and entered password is correct.

Hello Xaverius thanks for your tutorial, its help me a lot.
i have a question regarding this session.
At design cr i can preview the report without problem,
but when i run the program it will show me a login prompt.
Whatever i input the login ID and password always failed to connect me.
Because of that i cant preview the report.
I am using vs 2008 and framework 3.5,
with Mysql ODBC 5.2 Unicode Driver.
I connect to my localhost and root without password.

Now instead of changing the path to syswow64, just install both the 32bit and 64bit versions of the connector.
