I'd like to say that on the topic of AEW requiring too much prior knowledge for feuds or matches with outside people, I really enjoy being introduced to new talent. I had no idea who Mance Warner was or who Minoru Suzuki was, but it didn't hinder my enjoyment of their programs because they put on amazing matches. I was confused as hell trying to figure out what the Suzuki Incident was, but the next week on Dynamite Excalibur explained it. I think Excalibur goes out of his way to fill us in on the most basic things that we should know and nuanced things that are just amazing facts. Like I've never seen Kazuchika Okada wrestle before Forbidden Door and the fact about his matches being stitched into his entrance robe blew my damn mind. Could they do more to explain things? Sure. But I don't think it's taken away from anything they've done yet, other than the build to Forbidden Door, but I feel like that was more of a time constraint because they started PPV prep so late. Great episode, lads!
Jungle Boy already explained that Luchasaurus was with Christian to keep him safe, so no one other than Jungle Boy could hurt him while he was out. I love you guys, but sometimes, you miss stuff they DID explain.
