In 1976 I first went to Stafford Speedway and met your grandfather - he was super friendly and helpful back then, and you are obviously a product of that family attitude. Awesome job on the weekend, I throughly enjoyed the New England 900 and plan on attending next year, too!
I wanna thank the track owners for allowing Cletus to have an event like this SO close to where I am and many other people that enjoy the event. I look forward to bringing my family back to this track. Several times hopefully you guys have a lot of events
David I just showed this video to my wifey and it brought back so many memories flooding back! She spent more Fridays than she can remember cause her dad raced there in his 53 modified Vega Steve Zukowski. He past away almost 2yrs ago! She's very Very impressed on how beautiful the track and grounds look!
Loved your facility bud, tried to do our best to be respectful. I was blown away by how awesome even the local guys where. Just about every person there was like minded, and that always helps. Hopefully you host them again next year, I know I will be buying the day that they go on sale. Much love my guy! Excellent place and above average people running it. Hell Yeah Brother!
Bet you didn't see that coming! Thank you and the entire crew for supporting the car community. Last time I was at the track was the 87 swap meet, still have the dana 44 c6 rearend I bought there and used in a six inch stretched front end s10 with full tube frame cab back. Of coarse tpi back then. Crowd and staff were amazing. Glad it worked out so well and looking forward to many more good times out there.
Thanks for making this video. Gives us all just a little insight to all the hard work at goes into running the Stafford Speedway facility that we all love. I'd suggest wearing cut resistant work gloves when manually picking up trash. Could save you from getting some nasty cuts. Thanks for everything and see you Friday !!
I was there for the first time on Friday, it was a great event and nicely run venue. The bathrooms were clean and the food and drinks lines were fairly quick for the amount of people there. My only gripe or constructive criticism would be get the drinks on ice sooner and obviously more beer! I saw the drink fridge at the food trailer getting stocked during the rush, I assumed the drinks going in were not cold and that would be a bummer on a hot day given the premium price. Otherwise great event and look forward to another Cleetus event next year!
i got to say overall its not to bad, i have seen way way worse from other events. but that was an amazing 2 days !!!!!! soooo cool i really hope you guys have cleetus back next year! we need him up in new england. he said in his video that he loves the track and crew and really wants to come back.
The racetrack property looks great and I watched the NE900 on PPV. You can see the pride of family ownership in it. You seem to be an outstanding young man with a great future. Okay Cleetus fans lets go for half the trash next year. Tracks like this are precious few and we have to protect them.
yup too 1.9 in 16 hours,,,, come on cleeter boys,,,, lets get this fella to 50k!! I'm in Mid Mi, and went to the indy event,,, always a great time. Glad you folks enjoyed,,,
Having gone to this track every week for years now, it’s always awesome to see small UA-cam channels at local places. Especially one that owns the track and races in it. I was on Tyler learys pit crew when he raced here, but still keep going because I just love this place. One of the best short tracks in this country, awesome to see you putting in work on a UA-cam channel! With content coming more consistently, so will the editing and uploading! I’ll have to officially meet ya one of these Fridays👊
19:00 mate, that grease zerk is as dry as a bone, when was the last time that was greased I wonder? Typical rental gear. Great event, wonderful track, your family should be proud.
I haven't been to Stafford in years before this weekend.. youre doing a wonderful job.. its a beautiful track with great facilities. Keep up the good work and if there's gonna be a van prix again ill be there!
I would be interested in seeing a breakdown of how much an event costs to run as well as how much it brings in. Always cool to see the business behind the scenes.
Great content David, good job on the track work, definitely top notch facility. I race thrill shows at seekonk, Stafford is the only track in Connecticut I haven't been to..🏁🏆
Clean up sucks. Big cities have vacuum trucks for leaves, yard debris. I wonder if ya could find a used one cheap ? For the trash. Not sure about soggy bread though. Nice job, nice facility, thanks.
David- Have you consider hosting a UARA Super Late Model series or a CARS tour race at Stafford? I would think you would get support from outside and in New England for such and event.
I was there both days and made sure to keep all my trash in my bag and put it in the garbage cans. Even walking out with the stadium lights off after the fireworks. Kinda upset me to see the trash under the stands. Come on people we need to do better!! You should get some recycling bins too those can returns would be massive!! and make sure next year you post a little video as soon as Cleetus tickets go on sale I got a bunch of people who want to come next time haha
Looks like the event was a success, hope it's back next year, unfortunately I was at Lime Rock this year. Sorry you have to have a system for cleaning up after people, but was an interesting insight behind the scenes
I'm thinking maybe, when you have all that tire & debris mess. It may help the sweeper if, you started with the front end loader to scrape up the wire & stuff before sweeping ?
Possibly at big events offer your locals to come out on Sunday to help with cleanup. Maybe offer free entry to one of the regularly scheduled events for their help. Would just make yours and your teams life a little easier. Wouldn't have to allow them to run any equipment. But anyone can run a rake and fill bags.
Props to you for downplaying it, but I feel like we all could have done a LOT better with our trash. I officially put my name in as a driver for your version of the Vanprix. Sign me up !!
When you pick up trash, where some half-latex half cotton gloves, so you don't feel the nast dough, I work as a train cleaner in the Netherlands and soggy food/drink in the litter boxes are the worst XD
Need to take a tractor with a bucket or skid steer to pick up that stuff you raked up, take it straight to the dumpster. Hell with handling that stuff.
Have you guys ever thought of bringing in like local scout groups or even local school groups that need community service hours to help out with the clean up? I know NHMS brings in different kids/youth groups to clean up the stands each night after their big events.
Hey dave messaged other day. Watching your videos now,,, you want to learn about cleetus,? Going his channel go back to may watch month of freedom...lmao talk to you later...
I'd just like to say from what I've seen, you have a beautiful facility that you should be proud of. This is the kind of setup we need to replace our iconic track here in Western Canada. Keep doing what you do.
Hope you made bank and did not give it away. That burnout stuff is the stupidest, you can't even see it because of the smoke, stupid is as stupid does!
C'mon Cleetus fans!!! Let's get behind this guy ....wtf ....only 1500....that should be 150k....LFG!!!🇺🇲🔥🇺🇲
Yep I’m in.
Lol
Done!
@@robynchambers168 thank u ❤️
Same here brother !

Thanks for sharing more behind the scenes things from the track. You and your family's work ethic and pride shine brightly.
Now Everyone that went to the Cleetus event, needs to show some love and go to the weekly races to support the community.
Brother, I've been to a lot of tracks and must say that is one of the nicest and cleanest I've ever seen.yalls hard work shows.🏁
Loved your facility bud, tried to do our best to be respectful. I was blown away by how awesome even the local guys where. Just about every person there was like minded, and that always helps. It was a great event and thank you for hosting!
I subscribed but not bc I’m a Cletus fan, bc you’ve made a quality video that earned my subscription.
We had a blast!!!!!! Beautiful facility. You should get Cleetus to plug your channel. Great video.
Great job getting an event like this in the Northeast!
Bet you didn't see that coming! Thank you and the entire crew for supporting the car community. Congratulations on a successful weekend!
Track looks awesome. Good job.

We appreciate you mate 🙏
Genius move, standing on the bag and shoveling it in. Love your attitude 😎
A trash can to hold the bag and snow shovel work wonders - I figured that out cleaning up after the bear visits.

I see you are up to about 1.5K subscriptions. Keep going!!!

Nicely done. Triple the barrels for the burnout areas next year. A litter vacuum might be a handy addition. Save your back.

Great event, wonderful track, your family should be proud.

Next year provide more cans. The cleetus crowd usually self cleans.
Great content David, good job on the track work, definitely top notch facility. I race thrill shows at seekonk, Stafford is the only track in Connecticut I haven't been to..🏁🏆
Wow this guy really knows how to handle a hose ;) 19:55
Thanks for having us!!!
Good stuff as usual David you really break your ass working there. I hope you get all those medals why it picked up modified tires won’t like that.
I can confidently say that the yellow Twisted Tea cans seen at 7:51 were mine.
#staffordpride. ❤❤ see you Friday night. This was a great show
Beautiful facility and great crew yall have there, and it was one hell of a show. I've got a new racetrack on my bucketlist.
Clean up sucks.
Big cities have vacuum trucks for leaves, yard debris.
I wonder if ya could find a used one cheap ? For the trash.
Not sure about soggy bread though.
Nice job, nice facility, thanks.
I was there great event hope y'all come back
you guys put a lot of work in and the track looks amazing, It is now on my bucket list to watch a race at

Garret put on a hell of a show.
Things Sunbelt doesn’t want to see. 🤣
Props to you for downplaying it, but I feel like we all could have done a LOT better with our trash.

Nice work
I wonder if Sunbelt ever greased the broom bearings as part of the preventative maintenance.?
So double the beer order for next year right
Need to take a tractor with a bucket or skid steer to pick up that stuff you raked up, take it straight to the dumpster. Hell with handling that stuff.
need to work wiht cleet & co to pour a burnout pad in the middle of the mini mile track.
You need a magnetic sweeper next time to pick up all the metal first and then use the power sweeper. It is a rental, though😂
Have you guys ever thought of bringing in like local scout groups or even local school groups that need community service hours to help out with the clean up? I know NHMS brings in different kids/youth groups to clean up the stands each night after their big events.
Here in florida people at the track are self policing about clean up. Very little to clean up at the freedom factory.
Maybe next time rent a street sweeper that you can dump into a trailer or large truck instead of just a mobile broom.
Are there not grease fittings on the sweeper bearings?
i used to clean the stands at NHMS yes when its wet it suckS!!!!!!!
Our local track has a call list of local kids who they call for.spot help cleaning up.after.events. The.kids.have a blast.and make a little money.
I’m surprised you don’t recycle the beer cans/bottles.
All of this goes to a recycling plant where it is sorted by hand. Garbage and recyclables 👍🏼
You can Tell the event was wayyyyyyyy bigger then what they knew lol
Blame that on cleetus, guy breaks every He uses. Saw him driving that thing.
You should be wearing gloves handling all that trash love your channel
Was it worth the two sellouts? Hope so!
I know exactly what it is like cleaning up the track after big events
I think it's messed up Cleetus fans will keep the Freedom Factory clean, but want to leave someone else's place a mess
Great job!! Wear gloves next time!!
Was the event worth all the cleanup and damage ?
This is nothing. You should see it after our weekly racing events
Good question, I’d imagine so!
lol stands were cleaner from this type of crowd vs your normal race fan who doesnt care.
@@DavidAruteRacing 😂😂😂
Hey dave messaged other day. Watching your videos now,,, you want to learn about cleetus,? Going his channel go back to may watch month of freedom...lmao talk to you later...
Guys cmon we leave freedom factory so clean. Let's help
:)
cleetus fans need to clean up a little more after themselves, respect though i've seen wayy worse
gloves exist
Builds a strong immune system
I'd just like to say from what I've seen, you have a beautiful facility that you should be proud of. This is the kind of setup we need to replace our iconic track here in Western Canada. Keep doing what you do.
If only people wouldn’t be so lazy and throw their garbage in the bin you provided or close to.
Hope you made bank and did not give it away. That burnout stuff is the stupidest, you can't even see it because of the smoke, stupid is as stupid does!
@DavidAruteRacing plz reach out to me I wish I knew how to get in touch with you I would have definitely helped
