Just a quick video demonstrating how scan data and actual real data taken at the sensor may not always match. Check service manual if available to verify. If it don't make since, the manufacturer did it. lol

No the Consult wont give obd2 data. But my Autel does and thats a good idea. i have to check that out.👍

@@Autofixpals Mode6? That would be good to see preprogrammed thresholds/xcounts and possibly avoid the error??

My autel is only updated to 2015. But im certain that you will get the same misleading info from Autel, snap-on, etc.

I'm Looking at buying a Rogue 2015-2019, should I be worried about the "CVT"?

its a crap shoot. ive seen them with 100k+ on the original CVT, ive also seen them fail at 15k miles. But I believe they are getting better. going to cost about 4k give or take to replace it out of warranty. The rest of the car is solid. CVT is the only iffy part. But if you juet purchase an extended warranty i wouldn't worry.

Its not just Nissan. Other manufacturers use substitute values as well.
