Yeah, however i heard from others that California is not known for Whitetail. And they have saturated recent hunting games with Whitetail, so they really would not feel very special
Hi ragner this is @go just on my new account hope you have a great day amazing video the work you put in to the videos is amazing you truly are a legend 💯
if anyone who ever hunted ducks and pheasants and crows knows they are not easy to hunt they have very good eye sight and wary if they see anything not right they are gone
Very valid point. But by "Difficult" i meant stalking an animal for hours/days (Or even weeks in some cases) over extremely rough terrain just to be able to shoot one. It may be complicated and an skill to lure birds in, but i consider it more frustrating, and requirement for patience and commitment rather than difficult
I also watched this video at work so I couldn’t comment until now. I don’t have much criticism this time. However, I will say that the pronghorn isn’t exactly representative of the United States as a whole. They only live in the western part of the country (including states like Colorado, Montana, & California), and I live on the opposite side of the country where things like Whitetails are more common. Would you ever consider doing a video where you rank all animals from both regions, or would it just be the same but combined?
Thanks for commenting when you got the chance. I was thinking of doing a video where i ranked the species, BUT with IRL rankings, rather than using previous games.....
I actually disagree with the difficulty for crows cause they are the smartest animals I have ever hunted if you move an inch when they come in they will fly away and won’t come back for days or even months
@@Ragnar.Gaming yeah I hope so too when I hunt crows I actually wear full camp gloves and face mask cause they have incredible eye sight but if you do it right you can get some crows before they don’t come back for a while

The mountain lion has been in a bunch of games but its never been done quite right. So my excitement to see what UH does with this species is definitely a 5. Bear without bait or dogs is a 5 in difficulty. I'd rank it A tier. Mule deer and blacktail probably deserved a 4 in difficulty...both have amazing senses and are extremely skittish. I'd rank both as B tier. Mallard I'd put D tier and crow F. You're off by a mile on Turkey...especially their difficulty. I'd rank Turkey at C minimum even with a low uniqueness and a 1 in excitement. Just my opinions though.
Yeah, Deer, mallard, and Bear's main downfall was that they have been overused, which ruined my excitement. But yeah, i can see i may have been slightly harsh...
I personally like hunting small game better. It has different and unique challenges compared to big game, and I think the turkey could be a 3 for difficulty in my opinion. I've been out a couple times and not seen a thing. Of all the small game I have hunted (not very many!!😂) I love hunting rabbits. I loved being able to grab my shotgun and kick some brush piles then getting a quick adrenaline rush when one pops out. I'd agree overall with your list though! Thanks for the video
Yeah, those are very valid points, I feel hunting animals IRL versus in a game are very different. IRL i enjoy hunting smaller game, BUT in a game i find it tedious. Would have loved your Input on the Turkey before making the video, Since my only reference was what i have seen on UA-cam (and that can't always be trusted) and what others have said
@@Ragnar.Gaming Yeah, I’m sorry I missed the post. I definitely wouldn’t trust the internet whole heartedly. For spot and stalk, you have to catch them at just the right time of day. Baiting is another easier option, but less fun
@@levinielsen5854 Yeah, i find loads of hunting videos add false difficulty and drama just to get extra views.... No lies, i would love to hunt turkey IRL one day
I have to disagree with you on this one. I'm an avid hunter that hunts in the West US (Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Idaho). Mule deer and elk are the two most exciting species to hunt. Mule deer should be an A or S. Turkey should also be higher at a B or C. Pronghorn (or Antelope as we call them) are a dime a dozen and not very exciting or challenging to hunt. They should be a solid C. Racoons should also be lower at a D.
I absolutely get where you are coming from, but my excitement for the species was heavily dependent on how often they have previously appeared in games. And Mule Deer, and Turkey have appeared a LOT. Where as Pronghorn have not appeared as often and Raccoon even less. If i were rating the animals according to IRL hunting, the ratings would be very different on both lists
