Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I buy luxury handbags to enjoy fashion, to express myself. I feel fancy when I carry handbags that are associated with Princess Diana, Jane Birkin, Grace Kelly, and other celebrities that I love. I also love travelling to European countries such as France and Italy, so I enjoy handbags of brands that represent these countries. I think it's a good thing to have handbags that I love, because it gives me a reason and motivation to look forward to dress up and go out, so I think it has a positive effect on my life.
Thank you for such a heartfelt video!! You did not have to explain this to anyone yet you still did, I'm so glad you are in a better position and sorry about the bullies :( they can be so nasty. I really enjoy your channel and videos 🖤🖤
"I'm amazed that my *amzrepe* tote is still in such good condition even after a few months of use. The leather is well crafted and still looks as good as when I first bought it."
very honest, and I hope no one bullies you for this video. I remember going to Cartier with my mother and just swiping my card to pay for two bracelets, one love and one amulette, and I 'm not even rich, I just have a PhD and work in Switzerland as a highly qualified professional but I'm really NOT rich. And my mom was quite shocked and she still tells the story of how we went to Cartier together and I got something, just like that. To me, that's 'revenge' for not being the pretty teenager, or the rich teenager too. I'm still ugly but at least I can get Cartier lol. Jokes aside, for me the real deal is jewellery: given that i'm quite curvy I don't buy expensive clothes because they just don't make them in an 18 size, and bags/purses I see as 'perishable' items somehow, while I consider gold as an investment you can wear while it increases in value. Maybe this is because I'm of mediterranean origins and everybody there used to be obsessed with investing in gold for every life occasion ;)
I totally relate with making the younger me proud of her future self. It’s definitely a self esteem booster to realise the fruits of your labour. I also love the history and heritage of older brands like Chanel. I love the notion that she gave women independence by inventing the shoulder strap so the wearer can have her hands free to do whatever she needs to rather than wasting one arm on clutching her handbag ❤ But alas today’s Chanel brand is just pure corporate greed and the allure of that fairytale is loosing its lustre 😢 its great to see the rise of mid range brands producing high quality bags to challenge these old heritage brands which have become so greedy and declining in quality.
