the problem with lilliana is that you just blow up their lands you dont win so if they dont scoop you're just sitting there awkwardly until you win. I personally love land hate but i can't imagine its the type of content hex is going for here. He's looking for OTKs.

It rotated out, but I was doing simic mill. Azusa turn 2, zendikar turn 3 and cut your losses with casualty on the azusa flip... the deck also was running jaces and tamiyos so I could jace again from the graveyard. And the blue virtue.
I agree! I have another version, not trying to win turn 4, but I basically draw the whole deck. X cost spells also work well. Like outrageous robbery. You can exile your opponents whole deck in one turn!
Awesome brew! Classic combo revived thanks to innkeepers talent. love your use of Kami with the untap effects! Want to mill your opponent out more? I would love to see how you brew with Scavenger's Talent for a mill win
@HexMTG I was thinking pairing it with Pitiless Carnage somehow and sac a bunch of land or tokens to mill them out. But black is not the best token or land color, so maybe golgari? Excited to see what you come up with!
I think if you aren't going for a turn 4 win then supersizing Jace and copying the trigger is a great idea to mill your opponent quickly! (unless theyre running a 240 card deck 😂)
@@HexMTG I usually run Jace with that double trigger combo with dimir or azorius. It works fairly well but you have to stay alive and in standard there are some really fast decks
Any card that helps you return a Jace from the graveyard I guess. Wrenn is useful for this.You coulkd play Jace and protect it for a couple of turns until you can ultimate it for more than 30 cards
how does your jace enter with enough life for mill? doesnt it take a couple turns to build it up? I'm trying to learn the rules a little better and this broke my brain.
Ah no worries. Before playing Jace I've levelled an Innkeepers Talent to level 3. This means permanents can enter with twice as many counters as normal. In this case Jace gets 10 loyalty! (If you only pay 3 mana and 2 life for Jace, it enters with 10 then drops to 8. Still can mil for 24) In this deck I play a spell for 2 mana that can also copy the mill trigger. If luck is on your side that's their whole library for about 5 or 6 mana.
@@HexMTG That is so broken. I play innkeepers all the time and never for a second considered they were dumb enough to make it break planeswalkers. It's already op.

hate mill think its a terrible uninteractive mechanic - hate current wotc the last .... 5 expansions? maybe more? have just been abysmal reprints and just creatively bankrupt mechanic with that said dont hate the player hate the game im making this deck and im going to spam it till its banned

Nice Combo! Seems like you are using a ton of mana, so maybe Silver Scrunity can help to find your combo pieces pretty fast
