same, so far the only problem I noticed about him back then was that he didn't give disclaimers to not bully the people he made satirical videos about which gave him backlash, people really exaggerate that he was a menace when he literally could've just not even given any disclaimer after people called him out for it or even worse did the total opposite and made people go after the people the video was about; Past that, it's all the viewer's fault in the end whether they do bully them or not since nobody can actually be able to control all of their fans or what they all do no matter how much they try to tell them that what they're doing is a bad thing

I was young when UA-cam first started. I basically grew up just the same as UA-cam “grew up” and changed. I remember back in the day porn was on UA-cam, kittens being doused in gasoline and set fire to. I remember all the MLG videos and most of them are now taken down years later for being inappropriate. Nicole arbour was really hated for making a mean spirited video about fat ppl- but nobody ever thought she should be censored for it. I don't know who all is watching this in mid 2023, but holy shit...when I heard that OG Content Cop music...a wave of nostalgia hit me like it's never hit before. I'm in my mid 30s so this stuff should have happened before but it makes me miss mid 2010s UA-cam so much: Filthy Frank, iDubbbz, etc.
I've always looked for content looking to upset the modern internet's insistence on sanitized BS, not out of edginess, but out of love for the old non-conformist internet. We need people to stand up and make unapologetic content again, regardless of the risks. We are the counter culture.
One point of contention. EmpLemon's covered Leafy's departure from the internet, and he actually produced some stats to indicate Content Cop didn't actually do much to damage Leafy's brand. EmpLemon's theory is that UA-cam rolled out a silent burying of his content because he was getting so big being... well...
