Omigod. I heard that Melanie Le Barrie specifically sought out a job as an extra on Sesame Street since normally she performs in London but her run in & Juliet in NY gave her this opportunity. And now Betsy and Lorna are featured on Sesame Street?! My heart is full to bursting. 😂
My favorite thing about this is how thrilled Lorna looks to be singing with Elmo and friends. Obviously she's insanely talented, but I don't think people ever comment on just how easy it is to love her Juliet. From the minute she steps onstage you only want good things for her. I know she has to leave someday, and those will be huge shoes to fill. (Of course Betsy is also wonderful and I'd also prefer she play Anne forever too!)
