With this particular collaboration, Jay-Z wanted originally want to do a song with Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda ( Rapper, Writer,Singer,Keyboardist, Guitarist) of Linkin Park, wanted to do a whole album. Jay-Z liked the idea. So they did. Really great music they made together.
RIP Chester, one of the best to ever do it. More LP plz. Their lyrics go deep. I'm sure you would appreciate them.

Back in the day this was called a “mash up” which was a blend of two genres and in this case it was a blend of two separate songs from two separate artists from two separate lives. It was big to witness..especially back then.

That front porch comment is so true! When I was growing up all the homes in my area had them and we all sat around and chatted, especially on nice summer evenings. We all knew each other. Now, we don't have them and I couldn't tell you my neighbors' names. Glad you liked the video!

They did whole album with Jay-z and they've got collaboration with Busta Rhymes. I think you should check out some more Linkin Park, they are combination of rock, rap, electronic and pop. Chester was the lead singer, vocal beast and the Mike Shinoda is rapper, singer, guitarist and keyboardist. Linkin Park future is unknown for now but Mike released his solo album last year (he's also got his hip hop solo project Fort Minor)

Linkin Park lost their frontman when he committed suicide. Chester was an amazing vocalist and artist, and his loss will be felt by his fans and friends for the rest of our lives.
He didn't commit suicide he and Chris were killed for talking about the P E D O S in Hollywood. Ppl just accept whatever there told. You just saw how ABC buried the Jeffery Epstein story in 2016 media runs cover for them. Your favorite artist aren't commuting suicide there being killed off because of what they know!
Mike is still making music, but you can feel his pain in every track!
People did not like this song but I loved it. Jay got out of his comfort zone and it worked. I love it when an artist experiments with different sounds.

Linkin Park are on an indefinite hiatus. However, Mike Shinoda (who you see playing keyboard and providing some vocals in this vjdeo) released an album called "Post Traumatic" that was his way of trying to deal a little bit with some of the emotions and feelings he's had in the wake of Chester's death.
You should definitely react to some (if not, all) of those songs.
