    18:05 you could color the floor with specific lines to find your way around, like maybe a green line for the plant area or blue for oxygen

    Can we add some logic blocks that make it so that we "can't" accidentally depressurize the base (and killing everyone in the process) by making it so that both airlock doors can't be open at the same time?

    That fusion reactor by Budorskin is really well done, by far the nicest power module, but i dont really understand the jaws theme either lol
    Oh and next up should be:
    - Some sort of farm (growing food is another high priority)
    - Some sort of excersice room (gotta work out in space or our muscles deteriorate)

    You should add a vehicle garage for different Mars rovers, and maybe some flying vehicles. Might I suggest a stacking design for the rovers.

    I don't know how the crews gonna eat, so you really need a source of food and water, then probably a vehicle garage, and finally, a refining and researching facility, these are some crucial parts of a mars base/station

    Hey ScrapMan, The oxygenation chamber was screaming at you when you spawned it in because switches spawn in the OFF state making it so the oxygenation mechanism was off causing the alarm to sound. Also, the thing hooked up to the water jugs was an emergency oxygenation system for if the main oxygenation system fails.

      @@scrapman I think he was referring to the fact that the fuel for the reactor are hydrogen isotopes (deuterium and tritium) are what we would use in real life as well as the “donut” shape which would put the fuel under extreme pressure and heat causing it to fuse into helium and release enormous amounts of energy.

    I feel like one component to the Mars Base you should add would be a garage
    A large area that can hold up to 4 vehicles and car lifts to repair any damaged vehicle

    Maybe two separate garages linked to landing pads and airlock chambers and decontamination chambers? The garage and landing pad should be on the outskirts of the base, and the airlocks and decontamination chambers should link with both the central hub and the geodome. The botany farm should be linked to the kitchen, the bathrooms, and the decontamination chamber. The power plant should have a separate airlock and decontamination area as well as a security room close to the power plant, should anyone have any... Ideas about blowing the place up. The Hospital should be centrally located. Also Hadeks Marows' suggestion should be followed as well, with the added stipulation that there should be a timer between when one door closes and the other door opens, to prevent the Benz (IDK how to spell the condition, but it's not Mercedes-Benz, but rather the condition similar to when you depressurize yourself too fast from swimming up from the bottom to the surface. )

    Vehicle bay, storage depots, labs/science-fun-rooms, control room/bridge, mapping/navigation room, mining command room (and other various industries), maintenance garage, drone/robot garage, landing pad(s)
    I’m sure I could add more, but off the top of my head these would be the things I’d include if I were making a Mars base.

    I think you should ask some friends if they want to join without telling them about all the aliens, but do tell them about the suspicion of them from the station disappearance. You could either have them spawn somewhere else and find you or just have them spawn with you.

    2:15 - Actually you're right ScrapMan! That is legit what you have to do with home plants. You have to spin them from time to time because they tend to lean on one side, to the sun. ANd you spin them so they won't grow uneven.

    A greenhouse is definitely one of the most crucial things needed in a Mars base , after all , you need to eat something. If anyone is up to building one, you could also make aquaponics, I personally think they're awesome

    You should just build a proper logic for the airlock so that when you hit a switch to exit it automatically waits untill the door behind is shut.

    To keep from getting lost, I would colour code the hallways from each intersection. Red hallways lead to command areas, yellow to maintenance type areas, like power generators, blue to science labs, green to living quarters, etc. So when you're at an intersection, you can easily see which way to go

    Hey Scrap Man, if you would like to build a huge base without lag, you can lower the settings to simple 6 or even a bit lower, lowering the simpleness just a bit will not affect the rovers, but we’ll help out a lot with lag!

      @@boedymeadows Not if the vehicles or creations have many pistons and bearing that need to work perfectly for it to function properly, but lowering your physics is good if you are not using any of those.

    Use colors of those hallways and modules or color lines as we use in most of big facilities on earth for coloring ways to get to your destinations

      You could use some kind of colored light indication pulsing to the desired destination… or use it for case’s of emergency or malfunction… lights would pulse to the escape pod or safe location …

    you should definetly color-code each branch of the base! currently every branch is red, but you could easily do yellow for power, blue for water or oxygen, green for plants, orange or red for garages, etc.

    I think a really cool building could be some sort of defense and surveillance building which normally is a crew chill space and when under danger is an artillery building for defending the base. Could be really cool imo but I don’t have scrap mechanic to help make it

    You should make the hub go out into 4 sections each one with a different color like recoloring the red stripe to green for the plants section blue for power etc it would be more organized and better looking

    I know a way you could put stuff in the sky without it going crazy!
    if you important the survival import and export command into creative you can make it spawn on you. it will spawn in frozen in place
    if you change all the bools to true it will spawn everything frozen and if you want to unfreeze something spefic like a ring you could place a block and remove the block and it should start spinning but the rest of the creation should stay frozen
    i see some problems and benefits of this.
    Problems:
    Requires file modding
    may make you have to move blueprint files to your localblueprints folder
    Benefits:
    Spawning in sky without welding
    Frozen Physics most likely better performance and possibly less buggy

    Hey SrcapMan, on the second thought you don't need to build airlocks by yourself, I already uploaded airlock logic on the workshop "An actual airlock for ScrapMan" you will need to copy the logic for your airlocks, if you don't understand how it works - just press some buttons and see what happens.

    You should put tires on the floor in the depressurization chamber. Hooked up to logic that way if both doors are open at the same time the wheels will send you flying out to simulate being sucked out.

    Deuterium is a jet pack fuel for long boosts that don’t use fuel
    And tritium is pulse drive fuel(kinda the main thruster and adds much speed)

    I would put the vehicle bay right in the intersection between the center hub and the sleeping quarters. Maybe just a small vehicle bay for small exploration cars and aircraft, not the main scientific one for big vehicles.

    Scrapman the fusion reactors screen changes depending on if its on or off. If its off all squares are red and if its on then each square will turn green depending on which ones active

    Oh also unrelated i think i might know why the space station despawned or well ive got 2 theories 1st is that the space station glitched and just despawned or it might have been something new in the game that despawns creations that are causing proplems

    You can use the ( Fant Mod 8.57 ) to anchor things in the air without needing a pole to have them up there. 8.57 adds the anchor block but there is more recent updates incase it doesn't work with the game version or something.

    You should add colore code to each part for example the cruise quarters will have blue line instead of the red then you colore the hallway with lines leading to each part like in train stations

    So, since there arn’t any signs, how about color coding a corner block. Like, what ever leads to the center junction maybe make it say, orange and only have it on the side of the wall that points you there. then in the center bit have a color on each doorway to represent the other areas.
