By far my favorite KPCS (excluding Hanx, of course).
This was such a successful snapshot of Seth Green. I didn't realize he was so sincere and candid, and as a fan of his work it's a goddamn treat to view a conversation as opposed to a stock interview.
Missed you Chat Show, but a million thumbs up for the interviewer/interviewee pairing.
Great episode Samm. I found that the volume through my laptop speakers was not great so I went to the headphones and the sound was very good. Thanks for having Seth on the show and I will have to watch a lot more of his work and get caught up.
Guest is introduced at 4:55. If it were the Polack we'd be waiting 5 times the length.
One of the best shows ever. I love the interaction between Samm and Seth.
Awesome Tony Scott stories! Suddenly in the mood to watch Enemy Of The State again. . .
I just listened to this yesterday. I know I'm months behind, but would have loved to write in for this one. Loved Seth in Can't Hardly Wait. I think my friends and I still quote him like once a month. "Why you gotta waste my flava...Damn!"...long time listener, first time responding. Keep it up Kev, Jaime, Samm, Dr. Kenny Chen, Mike, Jason, Natalie, Meghan...love the show!!
The record for how much something completely mundane blew my mind has been surpassed with the forte stuff. I don't think it will ever be beaten.
Party Monster is on Amazon Prime streaming, I'm going to check it out
Samm seems to be channeling Kevin's delivery style, or they have both been working together so long now they have similar mannerisms.
Is their a version of this with audio?
Samm, if you keep hosting you might as well get your own show.
i see they are back to using the their old sound man ,,, checking the levels before the show starts usually works best..
Tina Davis The guest's mic is always too low, and the sound should be balanced so the loud sounds and low sounds are a bit closer together.
fun and incredible memory
Kalamazoo ! ! ! my home town.
some fascinating talk.
Excellent interview ! I doubt if Chat Show himself could have done any better. Even more, your cadence and demeanor even sounded a little bit like him.
Speaking of video games, I'm kinda disappointed they never asked Stephen Merchant about Portal 2. But there are some interviews on the subject where he talks about how bizarre and different it is to work on such a project, so I suppose we're covered on that front.
get a sound guy who knows what he's doing!
Samm Levine is a Yes-man
Samm's laugh is borderline villainous/psychopath.
So they've never had Lt. Columbo on Robot Chicken?
No talk about Mass Effect trilogy???? I know Samm isn't a gamer.... but it would have been spectacular.
emptying out my baseball card sleeves to make room for Character Actor Trading Cards! bye bye Cal Ripken Jr. hello Stephen Tobolowsky?
Samm is not a bad guy. not a bad actor and sidekick. But if this is permanent please change the name of the show. Oh yeah and the sound. c'mon.
Interview some buffy cast members like Alyson Hannigan or Amber Benson
Sam was in inglorious bastards, wow because that never gets brought up ( very heavy sarcasm ). Apart from a tiny bit part in a decent movie and freaks and geeks who is this guy and why is he talking?
SETH GREEN WHAT A AWESOME GUY !!!!
Yea why is this shit called kevin pollak show anymore i really only came for the guests lol so now hes gone i could care less, THE SAMM LEVINE SHOW!!!!!
SOUND CHECK SOUND CHECK SIBALIS AIVALIS DANGER DANGER DERP DERP DRPE SOUND.
lookwell is funny
Seth seems like a really nice guy, but I can't see him and not think of buffy and other cringe worthy parts he's done and can't hear him without thinking of Chris. He sure has aged well he's got to be what 40, 41 here and could pass for late twenties easy!
Willem Dafoe, card.
Umm, It was an OK show...but, I really wanted to know why the fuck they cancelled Dads! Too soon?
+Michael Blade why do you think they cancelled it? same reason as everything else, didnt have good ratings and critics didnt like it.
Pleease PLEEEEEASE stop with the jew jokes.
That goes for all of hollywood!
so played out it's ridiculous
So does that apply for short-people or ginger-headed jokes too? Or is it just the Jew stuff that's played out?
One of my favorite episodes in a long time. Levine made sure to just bring something up and then let Seth Green talk. Great host, great guest, great episode.
