I'm still working on getting even some of the base artifacts. I've been getting slow progress with it because I just stay on one island till I have each up to max. And then I unlocked eldritch and had to start back at the first island, even though I was barley half way done. I don't know if it's efficient, but it is an odd OCD I got going.
Can you explain why? I think missing something? I assume if the chest get upgraded the chances are higher of getting an artifact unless I'm misunderstanding this talent totally.. ;_;
@@Motogames It depends on how frequently you check your gains, but they're mostly right. When you don't have unending loot equiped, your ships can hold an extra chest before they stop sailing (which results in getting roughly 2x the number of chests), but these chests won't be upgraded like they would be with unending loot. Each upgraded tier on a chest is a 1.7x rarity multipler, so it would be better to use unending loot if you were consistently getting the gold chests (and only got wood chests without it), which is unlikely. Personally I check in roughly every 12 hours, so what I've been doing is setting my chest filter to silver and I still pretty much always end up with full chests (IMPORTANT NOTE: the 2nd chest is grabbed regardless of the filter, but can be deleted when you are opening chests if the filter is still set. This means you want to set your filter back down to wood before opening chests, then setting it back to iron before you log into your next character.) meaning I'm getting a bit of the best of both worlds, increased chest rarity as well as the higher total number of chests.
to Add on to what he said, if you checking every 4 or so hours not having undending is pretty massive since your getting basically double the chests. @@Motogames
whats the best way to push sneaking, i've just gotten the double charm upgrade from the jade emporium and im struggling getting a decent amount of jade
well yeah i read that aswell, i think its a matter of how often you are able to check your boats. if you can do it often, then i think they don't advise to put it on. but if you are away for long, then yes because more hours will upgrade the chests.

Bro you need to get rid of Unending loot, your literally cutting your chances of getting an artifact in half.
