It is polystyrene. On all the polystyrene items should be applied more layers of primer, or one primer + 2-3 acrylic paints (or chalk paint - I used this one) to make invisible the structure of the surface. Thank you :-)
Thank You very much for replying. Did you have to let the clay dry before painting? I have never worked with clay but when I saw this video I knew I wanted to try this so very much

Also, can you tell me which type of Fimo clay you are using? This is the most beautiful egg I’ve seen❤️❤️
The clay is air drying, normal Fimo, light. There is no powder on it, the white is simple white paint, applied with dry brush technique.

en las tindas orientales , hay huevos de corcho y moldes de goma que le dicen sellos
