Carolyn, THANK YOU!!! I just finished my first attempt and it was a big success thanks to you! From eyehole cutting and placement, to force drying, and paint mixing (squeeze bottles! Brilliant!). Your ease and confidence gave me confidence. You have passed knowledge on to me and it will be a part of me for the rest of my life. Grateful for you sharing your gifts.
So many of us have learned from you, because you share with us what you know, and we thank you for taking your time to help us, as we share the same interest and you have.
I'm not into doll babies only stumbled on this but I did watch the whole video, loved it, and I can understand the attraction to these cute squidgy life likes. Really sweet how you welcomed Lucy when she was finished, beautiful!
I have looked at countless videos. Yours is the only one I found that exactly explains the initial sealing. Thank you!!! And I think your dogs making little noises are far better background than some annoying music. Audrey
Wow...I had to pause this video to comment about how TRULY impressed I am of your artistry skill. Your eye for detail is just amazing. Thank you SO MUCH for this!
I am starting with my silicone. I do fine on vinyl. Thanks for the video. Love the part about coating the inside of the mouth. For a practice doll Lucy cane out just wonderful.
What a brill tutorial, clear and understandable and removed a lot of the mystery surrounding this procedure. I don’t feel so intimidated by it all and feel I could have a go. Especially appreciated all the little tips along the way, ie: it doesn’t really matter in what order you apply the colours, babies don’t really have eyebrows as such, look at colour wheel to see what shade the baby is to start off with, put a silicone layer all over to start, turn head to help flood the mouth with colour, and many more tips. Absolutely brilliant, I can’t thank you enough X
This is my comment above. I guess I wrote it a month ago from my other UA-cam Channel. Ha ha!! I guess while I'm here, I'll give myself a thumbs up! lol
I was watching hiphop music videos, and I have no idea how I got here, but I watched to the end. You are incredibly talented and it was so interesting watching you, and how realistic you made Lucy look. All love from Los Angeles.♡♡
Very very very interesting. Thank you very much. I,m new to reborn babies and now I wish I did it much earlier in my life. She is absolutely beautiful.
I love your videos and I put transcript on so I can read along to any parts where I can't hear you clearly but for the most part I think your voice comes through nice and clear...thank you for teaching how to paint silicone, I only have 1 silicone, she is a budget silicone and I have to paint her to make her more realistic and your tutorials are a great help to me blessing from the U.S. ♥️
Carolyn, I love the silicone babies, and thank you for sharing this video and the chat ,and I know she's gonna be so beautiful when she is finished so have a good night.
Carolyn, your video has been a tremendous blessing and a source of great joy and inspiration! It was quite an experience to see that little face come alive. What a beautiful baby she is! I love dolls but this is my first exposure to silicon dolls. Came across your channel by accident. I am so glad I did! You have a tremendous God-given gift in your talent. Thank you for sharing it! Blessings!
This baby would make a beautiful cuddle baby with one of those completely cloth jointed bodies with cloth arms and legs! Someone would be really blessed to have her!
Just watched this in hope of gaining some insight to paint my silicone. I’m nowhere near as nervous now about trying to do it myself. Thank you so much 🖤
You are so incredibly talented and an amazing teacher. I’m so grateful and thankful that you so generously share your knowledge and experience! Thank you, you’re a huge blessing 😊
Great tutorial!!! She turned out so beautiful!!! I just have one little silicone to paint. I normally paint reborns. You have really made me look forward to the process. Thank you for sharing!!!✨🌟✨🌟✨🎀
Absolutely fascinating! Wow! First time seeing them painted and prepared. So freaking interesting and weird seeing you poke and cut their eyes and mouth out. Lol I'm obsessed with reborns since an unboxing video popped up on my feed, been watching videos and researching babies ever since. I can't get enough. Chores go undone while I watch these babies! Lol Thank you for sharing this. Blew my mind!
I really like the subtle affect the sponge pattern had. I also enjoy when the baby starts to come alive. I’ve never seen anything like this. I can’t wait until I can do all of this myself. I’m so fascinated by your video and the way it’s layer after layer but slowly comes together. It’s truly amazing. My mother, Aunt and a couple of friends would get together once or twice a week to paint their porcelain dolls and sew outfits for them I never fully understand their fascination and enjoyment until now. I called my friend to see if she would be interested to come over and watch your videos so we can order us some of these babies and even attempt to sculpture. I’m taking screenshots of my grand children when they were babies so I could try to mix up their facial features up as I attempt to make a sculpture. When I was in high school I was very interested in sculpting but drifted away from it. I’m sure if you’re reading all of my comments on all you videos I’ve been overwhelming you but I am totally in awww with all of this. You definitely add beauty to this world. Thank you so much.❤️ I love your dog it always sounds like your stomachs growling.😜😂👍 Are we able to order bland babies from you? If so how may I go about it? I’ve been searching your website. If you don’t have any available could you please refer me to someone who might? Are there such things as starter kits with babies, tools, paint etc?
Wow! You made it looks so easy! I didn't realize you could use bob ross thinner I always thought you had to use naptha. A few years ago I tried to paint my first silicone doll and gave up but I still have a few silicone kits in the closet and its time to try again. Thank you for the wonderful demo.
Hola me encanto tu video ..yo quiero pintar como usted me podria decir los nombres de las pinturas bueno todo lo que uso para hacer las combinaciones porfavor...le quedó muy hermoso...felicidades.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge of making silicone babies. I had No Idea the work that goes into these little ones. When you broke the sculpture of Tara to get the mold off I almost died. :) When you explained that is what normally happens I don't think I could have done it. I honestly was shocked and can now understand why some prices for the very well done babies bring what they do. I can't imagine taking on such a task. I don't have that much patience. I learned a lot and have great admiration for you.
Thank you i have seen reborn kits on amazon i was thinking about getting one and stuff i need to try and make my own reborn. I am not sure how i will do but i wanted to see if i would be good at it. I love baby's
Found it difficult to hear as sound not coming through clear on lap top and speaker i added went on me before ending so please what substance did you apply on the last coat before powdering as i couldn't hear properly. Thanks for sharing.
Can u please do a video on all the materials u use when making a silicone baby? It would be very helpful for those who want to make their own silicone baby, aka me. It would be greatly appreciated.
Hi! I’m new to this world an I just watched your 8 part videos on making a baby from start to finish and I am amazed- the way you explain is so basic and relatable- I truly enjoy watching all your and your chi world videos- thank you- very talented both of you❤️
Incredible Absolutely wonderful to watch this building the layers Sad she’s “just” a practice one If you didn’t keep saying it I wouldn’t know any different. Sheesh I’d live her on a body with arms
Tummy Time Nursery I use super sculpey and I don’t sculpt the inside of the mouth I cut it open so that baby can use a dummy. There are other videos in my collection showing sculpting and I think showing cutting the mouth open.
Hi Carolyn 😊 thank for uploading this amazing vid! I'm a Reborn artist and I've always wanted to learn how to paint the silicone dolls. It is truly a blessing to stumble across your video. You are so detailed in every step. I would like to know is it possible to do several layers of the skintone with the silicone dolls? I know I would have to cure between each layer. I've been watching several videos and they all seem to just do one skintone layer.
Hi Carolyn you are super talented. I love your videos. Can you please list all the materials required for making a full body silicone babies and the links from where they can be ordered. I will really be grateful to you. Thank you and keep posting videos and I will keep watching them.
Thanx so much for sharing and explaining all you do,to bring these sculpts to life amazingly,I am considering buying a silicone kit from McPherson's do you know of any artists that are willing to paint a kit ? Again thank you so much for sharing,I can reborn vinyl kits but dont with to potentially go wrong at anytime and it's not so easy to save for a silicone kit again,iv watched you over and over again ,I only want the one silicone partial and once I have Lux or Genevieve,a fbs I will be content in improving my reborn painting, every day is a learning curve as they say, have a lovely new year Caroline 🙂👶
Thank you for sharing your tutorial, very informative, I had fun watching and I learned a lot. Lucy turned at very nice. Do you know if you can cure silicone in a nuwave? I have a knock off of silicone that I got from my friend (Had I known this I would not have paid even $200 for her) I actually paid $300. But I still love her, she has some booboo's but I really would like to give her a bit of color. Is there a way to just coat and then finish with mat, only coloring lips, giveign depth to ears and eyes? She is a closed eye. She has no lashes or anything else for that matter, Just want to give her some definition so that she does not look so pale. She is a darker silicone, not white, but kinda olive color. Any advice that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Ηello from greece..i am expecting my silicone baby tomorrow and i want to buy some acrilic collors to paint her..would you please can you write me here what you have used only for this baby...not all you have on your desk table...what did you mix with the colors and what colors you used please ..YOU ARE SO AMAZING ARTIST...TY SO MUCH
Watched your mould video & was really interested in how the babies were colored. Wonderful process! Thought at 1st he was too green, but he was perfect in the end. A real talent you have!! Are you still selling your dolls? How can I learn more about purchase?
Beautiful job! Your work is fascinating! I am interested on ordering a baby girl from you. How much do you charge for a complete, finished silicone baby like Sophie? Thank you

Very very very interesting. Thank you very much. I,m new to reborn babies and now I wish I did it much earlier in my life. She is absolutely beautiful.
Just amazing. It didn’t seem like it was going to turn out with enough flesh tone, but then after the powder and cure, wow. Perfect.
