I have had the Mother Bates House for a few months, but hadn't figured out what paper to get yet. I happened to be on the 12X12 Cardstock website looking for some and saw they had the new Bewitched Bungalow as a kit, so I ordered it thinking I'd do it this year and Mother Bates when I got the cardstock. Somehow I figured out what cardstock to order, based on the supply list provided and ordered it too. They came at the same time and I decided to tackle this one first. I'm so glad I did. It took me a couple of days, but it came together so nicely and so much easier that I expected it to. I made the Spooky Radio last year and it is
awesome also, but I decided to try using your original svgs this time and NOT the scored ones. What a difference!!! The cut lines made it so much easier to put together! Thanks, Leo, for excellent instructions (but I'll never be as neat gluing as you are!) and thanks to everyone else at Dreaming Tree for such fun and beautiful projects!!
Is it possible for you to show us the embossed pieces before you start putting it together so we can have all our piece to go when we sit down to assemble each project?
I can't even imagine how much time you and your team put into coming up with this design. It is amazing.
Quite the feat of paper engineering and construction! Ordered my files. Were it not for this in-depth construction video, I'm quite sure I'd never make my way through it. Thanks for taking the time.
Awesome, thank you!
Great project. I love the way it turned out. It's all done. Love your videos.
I was waiting all so patiently for this new SVG file and it worth the wait. Getting my supplies together and can't wait to get started. Thank you all for your creativity/engineering and sharing.
Just finished mine and I love it. I didn’t do the base though as it would have been to big for my display window shelf that my husband made for our front window. Thanks Leo and company for this so very cool project!
Leo you are simply the best just wait until my co workers see this Halloween with all the candy and cookies I'm making thank you for another wonderful design
This is SO cool! All the little details are so perfect!
Incredible!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE - Thanks so much! Can't wait to try it!
WoW I love this house and the name is fantastic.
Incredible
Wouldn’t it be easier to do the porch attachment like Mary’s Maple Manor house.
I had a rough time with the final roof piece attaching to the house. I need paper caulk to fill the gaps in the front where those tiny triangle tabs are. I may just remake that whole piece and try again. 😢
Super cool!
Love it
Was the cardstock ash embossed?? Will be assembling this weekend.
Please let me know where you buy the cardstock's sheets (ash, nickel woodgrain etc etc), . Thanks

I would like to know what embossing folder you used for the siding on the house and what was the blue tool you used to pick up the small pieces
The embossing folder is discontinued sadly, Sizzix Bats. Many of the Dreamers are using scallops which look amazing! The tool is called a Pick Me Up Tool, you can find this and our other go-to tools and supplies on the Dreaming Tree App: 3dsvg.com/dreaming-tree-app-ios-android
@@3dsvg Thank You
I found an embossing folder (in 2024) that works great for the siding by Altenew: "Window slats" texture.
Do you have a link or the names of the embossing folders you used for the siding, roof, etc? thanks
When available, we list all of the information on the supply list on our site. If you still need help you can contact us directly. www.3dsvg.com/contactus/
Altenew's "Window Slats" embossing folder works great for the clapboard siding
I don't own a embosser machine so what do I do to make them lines like you have them and what kind of ink do you use
Tim Holz ink pads work well for this. You can even just drag the edge of the pad across the paper with very light pressure to get a grungy look.
I bought this just unsure what do I upload to cricut do use svg or solid score line
Hi, Jessica! We have complete details on getting started on our site here: www.3dsvg.com/cricut-design-space-help/ If you still need assistance please don't hesitate to contact us directly. www.3dsvg.com/contactus/
What kind of ink is used to distress it?
Hello, you can learn more about inking on our site here: 3dsvg.com/how-to-ink Hope this helps!
Tim Holz Distressed Inks work great
What is ink and boss ?
It's "inked embossed". Means you have embossed it, then used a dry-brush technique so only the raised embossed parts pick up the ink. It's optional. You could use patterned paper or leave it plain, if you prefer
