I think Royal Court is very important as it allows hybrid cultures. Moreover, Court Grandeur helps with usurping de jure counties (through Steward) without war.
might just be an Xbox Gamepass thing on PC but royal court is free for me (you can’t petition your leige or have hybrid cultures but you can basically everything else)
I'll move up Wards and Warden because being able to pass your trait is awesome in my playstyle, and also as someone else commented Royal Courts for the Hybridization/Divergence.
The irony to say "do not buy North African attire and just dl CFP mod" when the sales of this DLC is supposed to help finance Tyranos, the modder of CFP 😅
A clarification, most clothing packs, except for North African Attire, cannot be bought separately. You get them as a part of bundles available or season passes. So the chances are you'll get them anyway, if you decide to buy a bundle. North African Attire was actually made by the modder who is a part of Community Flavor Pack team. There is also another clothing mod, Ethinicities and Portraits Expanded (EPE), which has more granular options than CFP, however, it wasn't yet updated after RtP, so doesn't work right now.
@@ShayGamerD3 oh yeah your right, for some reason I thought they went on sale seperate after the season ended but doesn't look like it. So many good mods for flavor things like that, that don't change the gameplay
Yeah I'll have to agree with the people who have already stated that the hybridization/divergence of cultures is the sweetest thing about Royal Court. When playing multiplayer my friends are always looking to me to see what kind of freakish mix of cultures I'll come up with this time, like my Norman culture with hirds (diverged) with a sprinkle of Khazar and Armenian culture to get the meanest horse army with big bulky viking heavy infantry troops for support to take out those pesky spearmen.
I love playing Norse, and thus "Northern Lords” is one of the must-haves for me. However, I totally agree to your point of view that the amount of content for the price is totally unfair and thus not worth it.
Since you guys know your stuff maybe you can answer a question I have. Do any of you know the formula for how prestige is given out when winning battles as a raider? Like not loot related but when you win a battle as a raider
I’ll give royal court a bit more credit. While it did feature royal courts, I feel that that isn’t its main draw - in fact, if it were up to me, I’d call this DLC “Hybrids and Divergence” instead.
The thing is, CK3 was an excellent and playable game right out of the gate. It didn't launch in a buggy or incomplete state. Every piece of DLC has come with a free patch that's added features to the game, financed by the profit from the paid DLC. So really you are better off for them doing it this way than you would be if they had just released the game and said, 'Okay, done.' Since you don't have to buy any of the DLC, and you get the benefits of the free patches even if all you bought was the base game.
@Malforian how little plague content u got for the price is one of the main reasons people hate on the dlc beside the execution of legends. If anything though it was more of a communication issue, which is the exact reason paradox made such an effort to increase transparency in their dev diaries following its release. The legends mechanic made up the majority of the paid content and not only did people not expect that but, respectfully, that shit was mid as hell.
My problem with Roads to Power is that admin is game breaking and unbalanced as anything. Getting admin government is just a "you win the game" button right now, and it leads to crazy expansion by BYZ because it is so much more powerful than anyone else and within 100 years, you can have 400+ income a month just by flipping admin. I love landless adventurers and think that that bit of the game is really fun, but the rest of it just isn't. I almost want a mod to make the byzantines fuedal and take away the admin government reform because of how un-fun I find it. The fact that admin is part of the DLC, and not the free patch makes RtP less valuable to me sadly.

I am a PlayStation player. Do you advise me to buy the first or second chapter?
@@وائلالنجمي I'd suggest getting Royal Court, T&T and Roads to Power. I don't know which chapters they are in.

Appreciate that!

Looking for the moment when Paradox will sponsor a video of Malforian, preview of a future DLC 😁

Nice review as always. I really enjoyed legacy of persia and roads to power.
I just get all of them either in chapter packs or on sale to be safe😄
Same 🤣

gotta say...the music from Norther Lords might make it A teir in my book, regardless of content.

The culture stuff was awesome
I just bought it for the 50% off sale. T&T and RtP I paid full price.
I actually agree with the Legends tier I don't like it but I can still see its potential.
I brought Chapter III, everyone wears the French Noble hat now 😭 def gonna buy chapter two and royal court
Legends of the dead is not a good dlc, I leave it on default and sometimes I get the same notification 5 times in a row. Do not recommend it.
DLCs shouldn’t be this expensive and this numerous for a paid game.
I don't mind with how many hours it gives me back, remember can always just use mods for free!

That’s why I only dedicate myself to only one or two paradox games eu4 and ck3
99% of Royal Court's value is the culture customization. 1% are the artifacts.
The court itself is a net negative.
What is this tear-list why is there no f tier or d tier

I will forever glaze lotd

Do u genuinely like the implementation of legends. Cuz plagues were part of the free update and that was the best part in my opinion.
You got additional plague stuff with the dlc too

They 100% learnt from that mistake which was good to see
