Damn bro. Jack Wallside truly is the most GOATed player. He's played every single match in the anime that he's been a part of, and now we find out that in the first version of the games he's basically an all-rounder. Amazing at blocking because of Mega Quake, dribbling if you give him Boost Glider (plus he has a 99 dribble stat as well), good at shooting with Neo Galaxy and can be used in the strongest catch in the game. True gigachad.
Neo Galaxy is European only though? I'm pretty sure their stats are also muh different compared to the JP version.
@@x-49nightraven ok yeah when I wrote "first version of the games" I meant first game to be released for this series. Ever. Not specifically IE1. And yeah, stuff like Neo Galaxy and moves originally in IE2 can only be obtained in the European version.

***VIDEO 2 - Inazuma Eleven 1’s meta***
**Japanese version**
The japanese version of IE 1’s meta is completely barebones. With only 6 different stat spreads there’s not much in terms of building your team. So it boils down to essentially maxing out the player’s stats and giving them Boost Glider and The Galaxy/Bamboo Pattern/Divine Stamp/Hurricane Arrows/Mega Quake.
You simply set your GK to be Mark Evans with Triple Defence.
Your DFs and MFs to learn Boost Glider and one of the block moves previously mentioned.
Your FWs to learn Boost Glider and The Galaxy.

**European Version**
This is where it gets interesting. While the gameplay essentially remains the same, the main changes is the fact that everyone has their own stats. Also, scouts and most special players from IE 2 can be traded to IE 1. This also includes special moves as well. Making the list of meta special moves bigger. They are…
GK: Beast Fang & Infinite Wall
DF: Mad Express, Hurricane Arrows, Sigma Zone & Bamboo Pattern
OF: Boost Glider, Heaven’s Time, Dual Pass & Triple Dash
SH: Neo Galaxy/Cross Fire(Fire), Cross Fire(Air), Dark Phoenix & Reflect Buster
Since the strongest GK moves available are only Fire(Beast Fang) or Earth(Infinite Wall) it’s recommended to use Air or Earth shots. So now the meta revolves around using Cross Fire(Air) and Reflect Buster/The Earth(on Tom Skipper) - It is also important to note that Saves will get lower numbers on average than Shots, so most shots will score, meaning that IE 1’s meta is essentially quite a score-fest, especially when there is no Shot Blocking to support GKs. This also applies to IE 2 and 3’s meta which will be explained in depth in later videos.
The gameplay and teambuilding aspect is essentially the same as the japanese version: Barebones. But much better than the japanese version due to the diversity of moves and the players available.

Another thing to note - I also want to give a shout out to Sharkey Gobble. Whom has a very similar build to Jack Wallside, exact same stats and he gets a weaker Harvest instead of Mega Quake. However I have seen Jack be valued more since Jack can also partipicate in Triple Defence whereas Sharkey Gobble cannot. So 2 Thicc bois up front is the definitive IE 1 experience. You love to see it!
