Ryan is legit one of my favorite characters in The Office. Because you can see BJ Novak writes small arcs for him to go, like his Temp phase, his Hipster phase, his post-Exec phase. Also because his character development is about spiraling downwards lol.

For someone that worked in big cities, for me he is the most realistic character out of all the office. Even more than Jim and Pam who can be found more on mid sized cities.
