I would strongly suggest that you work on your single stroke rolls, paradiddles and triplets. If you aren't familiar with those, (forgive me if you do), find an online post that demonstrates them for you and start very slowly and focus on always having a relaxed and flowing grip and motion. Don't be in a hurry. You can't rush this part. It's the foundation of great playing and is very important for your long term growth and maturity. Have fun and good luck!
