have a 2005 FLSTSC. Purchased in 2006 used with 370 miles. Had an issue with a Circuit Breaker which I fixed. Since then, it has never been a problem. I dressed the bike with all OEM saddlebags and had a solo seat with chrome rail. Love my bike and I think I will never sell it.
Fantastic faux knuck version of springer classic...you really outdid yourself on that one...best one around. Having said that, all I would add is a crossbones cat eye dash ( did this on mine) see "Andrews 54 springer" and tank bib with pouch to complete...just sayin my 2 cents..?J
It's the deluxe Harley solo saddle that I believe is still available. I removed the chrome decorative spears and replaced them with some red glass jewels and rosettes to give it a 1940s feel.
Are those screaming eagle mufflers with different tips? If so where did you get them? Nice looking bike! I have a 99 with the evo. Silver and black stripe.
It's a faux pogo mount made by V-Twin. It looks like an old pogo setup, but is just a short piston, gives you an inch or two of travel. It will accommodate any Harley seat that mounted on the old pogo setup. The seat is still available from Harley, it was a deluxe solo. I removed the chrome spears and added some rosettes and glass jewels to it. The seat, in my opinion, is one of the most comfortable and if you like the seating position of the older bikes, this is pretty close. You sit on the bike, not in it.
ME-Trooper thanks for the info. That’s my affordable dream bike. By the way, is there a special kit to add the pogo seat, does Harley Davidson sell it? If only they made the rear fender like the original knuckleheads.
The faux pogo set up is made by V-Twin. It's about as close to the real thing as you will get on a modern bike. I agree about the rear fender. It's on my to do list.
You used a Harley Davidson deluxe solo seat. But it does not appear to have the spring set up it looks like the old-style post? What kind of seat mount is that? Thanks
@@me-trooper8570 ok, i originally had a 1980 flh that i bought new with a comfort flex seat that had the spring loaded pogo stick and i really liked how i sat high in the saddle and could see over windshield nicely, the old lady liked it too but she won't get on a bike anymore, we're in our 70's. i'm gonna look into that seat you have. i have an old V-twin catalog but i'll go to their website. thnx for the info.
@@steveperry1344 I prefer this riding position as well. I like to sit on the bike, not in it. I have an old buddy seat on my roadking. Check that video out.
It's a harley deluxe solo still available from the MoCo. I removed the stock spears and replaced it with my own 1940s decor. The faux pogo set up is made by v-twin and is really just a short piston, but it gives the appearance of he old style pogo seats.
If Harley Davidson would've mounted the front fender in the arch of the springer this would have looked WAY better. It looks goofy that far down. The whole bike doesn't sit flat. Looks like the girders are too long also.
I really dig the evolution engine too, it's one of the best, if not the best. This twin cam is carbed bike though, so you get that low idle that you just cant get with a fuel injected bike.
Actually this is the best HD have ever seen. So balanced beauty, nothing screaming but so ridiculously majestic
If you could tell me how you painted chrome parts, that would be amazing. Thank you
Thank you
I powder coated them black.

It's a keeper for sure.
That is a nice looking bike, very nostalgic, looks like it just came out of the forties.
Thank you
Beautiful, I love these. Although I would get those red 'blingey' studs off the seat, then it'd be perfect!
Very cool! The only thing I would change are those braided cables back to black. It’s the only thing that looks off.
So COOL, this is the best retro style custom by 2005 flstsc I ever see
Thank you.
Outstanding!!! plain n simple...
Thank You
Dream bike 😮
Thank you
That's badass! I have owned a 99 FLSTS since it was brand new. (and it still looks it)
Thank you. It's one of the best years.
I have a '99 FLSTS too. Mine is like new, I'm the second owner. Diamond Ice is the color.
Very antique looking, Awesome
Thanks
Beautiful machine.
Thank you
Thank you
That's beautifully done! I'm thinking cat eye dash too!
There are still a few other things I would like to do with it. The Cat's Eye dash is one of them.
Gorgeous ❤️
Thank you
SO Cooool! also riding on FLSTSC,me too
Probably the last of the Harleys to keep their value
Sharp looking bike!
Thanks
Really nice clean ride
Really nice
Thank you
So retro!!!! So many questions!!! Love it!
Thanks
Any questions, fire away. I've added some retro red grips since I posted this.
@@me-trooper8570 did you have to customize a cover over the battery?
@@me-trooper8570 oh wait!!! Lol... I just saw the battery on that Last angle! My bad
I do have a cover for it, but I haven't cut a hole in it for the post yet. It is a custom cover fashioned out of fiberglass.
Harley got these right
Almost....
that is a very beautiful bike, just the way i would want it. i'm drooling all over my computer keyboard.
Thank you
SWEET RIDE!
Thank you

Agreed, the crossbones dash is on my to do list.
Hi John, do you have a link to Andrew's 54 springer? Tried to search for it.
I have flstsc too same colour same year but i got my bike in chicanos condition 😭 im sad it will be long journey to be like yourss…
I wish you the best in bringing it back.
Very nice!!!
Thank you
Nice as it gets there!
Thank you
Way more appeal than any Street Glide.
I agree
you even got the fender Strat bolts gloss black. Great looking bike modern knucklehead
Thanks
Super motorcycle 👌👍🤘
Thank you
That's ectrimly beutiful
Thank you
Love the bike. I have a 2006 FLSTC and I've started doing a similar makeover but need a few extra parts to change. Could you post a parts list?
Was there something specific you were looking for?
Love the seat, where did you get that one?
It's the deluxe Harley solo saddle that I believe is still available. I removed the chrome decorative spears and replaced them with some red glass jewels and rosettes to give it a 1940s feel.
beaut
Thank you
Are those screaming eagle mufflers with different tips? If so where did you get them? Nice looking bike! I have a 99 with the evo. Silver and black stripe.
Yes, they are. Shark fin tips...now obsolete from Harley-Davidson I believe.
Hi, I’m interested to know where you got your black teardrop toolbox. Do you have a part number or brand? Thanks!
coooooooool!!!!
Thanks
Wow what a nice bike , would you mind telling me where that seat set up is from? Is it comfortable?

beatiful, perfect bike! can you tell me the handlebar model? thinking my crossbones could use one like that!
They are the stock Springer Classic bars, just powder coated black.
Thumbs Up liked for you.
Thank you

You are welcome .
Hello, absolutely love the bike I have a 2007 Where did you purchase the solo seat ?
It's the deluxe solo still available from H-D. I removed the spears and added the red jewels and rosettes.
ME-Trooper thanks for the info. That’s my affordable dream bike. By the way, is there a special kit to add the pogo seat, does Harley Davidson sell it? If only they made the rear fender like the original knuckleheads.

You used a Harley Davidson deluxe solo seat. But it does not appear to have the spring set up it looks like the old-style post? What kind of seat mount is that? Thanks
It's a faux pogo made by V-Twin. Just a short piston, but you achieve the look of the older bikes.
good!
Thank you
Great looking bike. Where did you get the light bar? I been looking for one and can't find one
It was a Harley accessory. Different from the one on the Heritage Springer slightly in that the horn is separate piece.
@@me-trooper8570 do you know a part number?
Nice sound.....how did you get to idle it at this low revs ?
It's not fuel injected. It's a factory carb bike.
Carbs are easy. I wouldn’t know the first thing about reprogramming an EFI to lower idles but I’m sure it can be done. Check with your dealership.
It’s such a bummer the new harleys don’t have a similar sound, I got a 2020 softail standard and it’s loud but doesn’t have the lope or potato sound
It's tough to get that on a fuel injected bike. I agree with you though, carb all the way.
Can you share some details on the seat pogo stick?
It's a faux pogo made by V-Twin. It's actually a short piston, gives you about an inch of travel. Great riding position.
Looks like it could be the 2022 Revival bike.
Thank you for the compliment
Solo. Le falta. El sonido. De un motor. Evolution
What speedometer are you using?
Its the stock speedo
Would you happen to have your speedo part#? I also have a 2005 Springer, but my stock speedo looks too modern, I like better your version
The speedo is the stock one. The dash cover is stock also, I just powdercoated it black.
Where did you get that seat???
Check the comments, you'll find the info you are looking for
how did you get that seat? it looks like it has the spring loaded pogo stick.
It's a faux pogo sold by V-Twin. It's a short piston.
@@me-trooper8570 i have a straight up 02 heritage, i might get that seat too.
@@steveperry1344 I have put them on both of my springers and a heritage softail. If you like the vintage riding position, you will love it.

Is this bike for sale?
Who makes the seat?
It's a deluxe solo made by Harley-Davidson. I decorated it with glass jewels and rosettes.
Where did you go for the seat ???? I'm trying to get mine but I was told is not possible ,
It's a harley deluxe solo still available from the MoCo. I removed the stock spears and replaced it with my own 1940s decor. The faux pogo set up is made by v-twin and is really just a short piston, but it gives the appearance of he old style pogo seats.
This is carburetor??? Not injection?
Yes, this bike came with a carb.
I put Sampson bg3’s on mine. (Shotguns w/fish tips) very loud!
Do you still have the bike? Any interest in selling ?
I do still have it. Not ready to sell it just yet.
All you need is a tank shift and a mouse trap
Would you be interested in selling it?
Selling?
Not at this time. Thank you for asking.

I'm not sure why Harley made this change from the old Springers....I agree though.
It just lacks the best sound of an. Evolution engine
