- The much awaited comic con happened after a long hiatus in Bangalore. We went on the first day: 19th Nov 2022 - Saturday
The experience was a mixed one, it was Shreya's first comic con while I had already attended one in 2017. Seems like the whole comic con was turned into Manga Con. Naruto and KNY had clearly taken over.
Some even thought I was cosplaying Kakashi. Well, this is what I wear even at an airport.
The management could have done a better job with the massive crowd that showed up, which was not a surprise. Still not sure what was Maruti and MTR doing at the comic con.
Loved the cosplays (I am an Anime guy so it was fine for me anyway :p)
The shops were amazing and the food was pricey af. As I said: Mixed emotions. We have years to improve, I hope we do.

Do I have to buy a special pass or something, or just normal?
You can register as a cosplayer, just visit comicconindia.com and see for cosplay contest section.
To visit the event, you need a pass, also Bangalore and Delhi are done, next is Mumbai.

I don’t think dates are confirmed yet, but it usually happens around November.
Website now says: 18-19th November 2023 for Bangalore

At what time we should be there if it starts at 9am? do we have to be there at 9 or anything between the staring time and closing time??
I will suggest to reach by at-least 8:30am :) As you can see in the video in the starting, how long the queue was, even though we were 30-40minutes earlier than opening time.
But obviously if you go in afternoon there won't be a queue because everyone is inside already. All depends on how much time you want to spend there.
Or if your question was just about when you can go, then the answer is anytime between the opening and closing of the event.
