- I live in the springtime
I live in the springtime
There's no in between time
I live in the sunshine
In the summer, you walk around in the rain
I live in the springtime
In the winter you stay at home again
I live in the springtime
In the fall it ain't no use at all
I live in the springtime
I live in the springtime
There's no in between time
I live in the sunshine
Every day you lay out in the sun
Every night you stay out having fun
In the spring I love everyone
I live in the springtime
I live in the springtime
There's no in between time
I live in the sunshine
Every day you lay out in the sun
Every night you stay out having fun
In the spring I love everyone
I live in the springtime
I live in the springtime
There's no in between time
I live in the sunshine
I live in the springtime
I live in the springtime
There's no in between time
I live in the sunshine.---------------------------------------------The Lemon Drops were an American psychedelic pop band from Chicago, Illinois that formed in 1966. The band, originally established by high school students, produced one single in their heyday that reached regional success, but also recorded several other unreleased material that garnered the group's re-interest in the 1980s. During their existence, the band was an essential piece in the development of psychedelic pop in Illinois.Past members- Danny Smola

Hearing this song as a kid all it did was just blow my mind.
Rick Ericksen, he was my dad and was their guitarist.
He was excellent and I hope that he is still doing well! This song is a tiny little masterpiece!
Which kid in the picture
garage-psych masterpiece from 1967
All the musical ingredients were here for a summer of 1967 (the "flower power" "summer of love") pop smash -- the psych-drenched driving guitar sound of the time with appealing folk-rock-influenced vocal harmonies and a big, catchy and carefree quasi-existential lyrical hook -- but the lack of a unified priority push behind it at the production/distribution/financial levels messed up the timing and it barely got noticed upon its late-summer release. Still, it was an amazing effort by a group of high schoolers from McHenry, IL; and it has not been forgotten.
All Fuzzed up and everywhere to go-go!
Best comment....Army veteran from this era....saw Country Joe Live!
Great fuzz !! Good tune !!
Yeah what a fuzz not bad
The Buzzsaw version is also great.
I just listened to this cut on the Nuggets collection, but there they have the version w/o the drum track that was released by mistake before this version. This is very different.
And the Nuggets collection one is way better tan this one (sorry)
Ah, the 60s. Where even what at first seems like a repetitive fuzz-rocker is actually so musically sophisticated and unpredictable as to modulate between D major verse/chorus and Bb(!) major bridge.
D E F# G A Bflat Cnatural D = a useful Aeolian "mode" . D Eflat Fnatural G A Bflat C natural D is also useful
Πολύ όμορφο!
