I am and ER nurse and Coleen what you have said is so accurate. There are no hospital beds for patients who are being admitted...so they are bording in the ER for Days/weeks, which means we cannot treat or see new ER patients, some that are critical like strokes and heart attacks. Hospitals are understaffed and nurses are overwhelmed and exhausted. Please stay home so we can end this. Please educate yourself on being vaccinated. Thank you Colleen for trying to spread the message.

There are many "influencers " that aren't taking this serious, but the ones that are no one says anything about it. Haven't heard anyone say they're doing there best to stay safe for them & there family members. I wish this " influencers " could experience what others have to understand this is not a joke. Many people who got covid are left with some symptoms, not good . One if my friend got this@ the beginning of the pandemic he was sick for almost 2 months he had problems breathing but not to the point of going to the hospital but the headaches, body ache, nausea, chills, ect.. was not good.

Some of these “influencers” won’t take this serious until either they get it or one of their family members get it. When I found out my mom had it I had a whole panic attack and anxiety attack where I couldn’t breathe and I couldn’t stop. This is extremely serious and very contagious. I don’t really mean this but I hope they have some sort of experience with the virus so they realize they should take this serious. And I’m sorry to hear that one of your friends got it❤️
On the influencer disc: Humans are quick to categorise other humans and apply the bad behaviours of few, to all they put in that category. We do it with religion, race, skin colour, gender, professions etc. Colleen's frustration, which is totally valid btw, of being lumped in with all the irresponsible influencers is no different to the frustration people have when stereotypes are applied to them because a few people of the same religion, culture or skin colour have behaved badly, even though they have never done anything to justify being painted with that same brush...food for thought. Man it really sucks that you guys have to go through this, I live in New Zealand, we are practically covid free here , our summer is completely normal. People are going to festivals and going out to dinner, everyone Christmas was normal.. Life is great here, im so grateful to live in New Zealand, and i hope you guys get to go back to normal too 💕
There are so many “influencers” who are being very safe. Every single channel I follow is being very strict with the rules. If they weren’t I would unfollow them. I live in South Africa and our hospitals are also SO full. My uncle got COVID and he got worse every day. We couldn't go visit him and couldn't say goodbye. He died last night , but at least he got to say good-bye to me in my dreams 💖
I have taken notice that Colleen and her family (mom, dad, brothers, sister, sisinlaw, nieces and nephews) have all been staying home in their videos they even mention it sometimes. I really hope people will listen and helps us to help each other stay safe and be safe. I find it very admirable. Also glad you addressed the people going to the doctor/hospital for non-covid related things. Think about how much activity was happening in hospitals before the pandemic. That traffic doesnt just stop! People are still getting sick/hurt and have no choice but to seek medical attention even if they've done everything right in terms of the pandemic guidelines. I am a senior studying to be an elementary school teacher. This year was supposed to be the year I student taught full time but because of a few of my careless peers that are not being responsible the district is not letting student teachers into schools. Just thought it was important for you to know there are lots of people sharing your frustration; being really safe and doing our part, but still dealing with the consequences of our peers actions. You’re one of the only people I’ve really still been able to follow bc you’re actually taking covid seriously. So many others are giving me big time anxiety watching them go on vacations and going on about their normal lives.
Thank you Colleen for being responsible! I get very frustrated seeing people who are going out to bars and just acting like life is normal. My family is taking this very seriously. My grandma is 95 and we don't want to chance her getting it. Since March the only business that I've been in is the vet for my dog. The only people I see are my parents and my grandma. They come to my house and I go to theirs. that's the only places we go. We have be much more strict than anyone else we know because we don't even order food from restaurants.
Colleen, you make me feel better about the fact that I don't go anywhere or see anyone and if I do, many precautions are taken. Also glad you addressed the people going to the doctor/hospital for non-covid related things. Think about how much activity was happening in hospitals before the pandemic. That traffic doesnt just stop! People are still getting sick/hurt and have no choice but to seek medical attention even if they've done everything right in terms of the pandemic guidelines. It's just exhausting.

Whatever. Yes people have died but only people that are already dying from something else or have bad immune systems. U do realize that this virus has a 99.9 percent survival rate right? And plus all the symptoms that most people get are just normal cold and flu symptoms. So let’s all stop making this virus a big deal and get on with our normal lives like they were before. Stop being afraid! (Ps. I know this is all true because my dad is a nurse in the ER and knows the truth.)

My little brother was obsessed with cooking when he was little and we got him a little baby kitchen with all of the plastic foods and he LOVED it.
Appreciate you mentioning all the influencers getting talked badly about bc of the way a few are being unsafe during the pandemic. Just want you to know I relate and understand what you are feeling. I am a senior studying to be an elementary school teacher. This year was supposed to be the year I student taught full time but because of a few of my careless peers that are not being responsible the district is not letting student teachers into schools. Just thought it was important for you to know there are lots of people sharing your frustration; being really safe and doing our part, but still dealing with the consequences of our peers actions. Thanks for the vlogs, I watch them each night and really enjoy them.

You need to call out all of your so called influencer “friends” by name at this point. It’s incredibly irresponsible of any of them with their collabs etc. If you only talk about these influencers in a positive light if they gave you new merch etc, that’s sending a bad message because you’re not putting down how reckless they’re being.

Thank you Colleen for being responsible! I get very frustrated seeing people who are going out to bars and just acting like life is normal. My family is taking this very seriously. My grandma is 95 and we don't want to chance her getting it. Since March the only business that I've been in is the vet for my dog. The only people I see are my parents and my grandma. They come to my house and I go to theirs. that's the only places we go. We have be much more strict than anyone else we know because we don't even order food from restaurants.
