    Beware the dreaded rattleheaded coppermoccasin!!😊
    Robert, wouldn't it be better to have some big equipment come in and push the barn over? Then you could safely dig through it and salvage....just a thought.
    You should consider making Wisteria essential oil. You could make money on those vines and have a working flower farm! All you need is a still. I'm sure you can find one of those down there some place.😊🐝❤

    I believe that "shingle tin" is actually tin skirting used to close off the crawl space under a house. Those squares, I believe, are intended to look like limestone blocks with a mortar line between them.

    • @kathrynmcadams8091
      @kathrynmcadams8091 Рік тому

      It could also be for a patterned tin ceiling which was popular in the 1880-90 era. I've seen many old houses with tin cielings.

    I like it how its made from old things just laying around the yard. It makes it look like its there for a long time plus its cheaper. I do the same way when it comes to building stuff around the yard.

    I used some old roofing tin that had a shake pattern on it to make a chicken coop for my silkies. It has layers of paint ,green and red, plus some rusty spots. No rust is going all the way through though. I then trimmed it in some white vinyl trim. It turned out really nice and best of all it was all salvaged stuff so was free. Now to build the run which unfortunately I have to buy supplies for

    Hey all y'all heathens .. Bahaha. Hey sweet Bleu❣️I was gonna say u needed to get our Uncle Ken some sweet tea but I see he had some as he was jetting. So Robert says "I know normal people would prob trash this old wood" .. Now Robert are you saying U r abnormal?? LOL. Hey U said it .. wink. I absolutely love the rectangle patterned tin. I think they used to use that on the inside ceilings of houses & paint it. Wonder if it was originally inside the Byrd Farm House?? Or one of them?? I know my aunt has a historic house up in Villa Rica & she put that inside on her ceilings bc she said it was period ceilings. I imagine that is top dollar nowadays even tho it's thinner. Anywho y'all take good care neighbors!✌🏼💞🍑

    With the tin on the sides of the chicken coop.. would it not be too hot for them in the summer? 😳☺️

  • @ep61611
    @ep61611 3 роки тому

    I think I would have spread the wire mesh out on the ground and built the chicken coup on top of it, making it the floor. By extending it out on all four sides by a couple of feet, it could have been folded up and fastened into place, making an impenetrable safeguard no matter how deep a predator might dig.
