Hi Edele for a trip in November it might be a little chilly but it should be absolutely gorgeous. You can definitely call ahead and let them know that you want a room that has newer mattresses. The service was excellent. Also I don’t know if they changed the hours of the coffee shop so you can also ask about that as well. There are a lot of fun shops in the downtown area that isn’t very far at all. Hope that helps 💖
have a question about the homeless population. the homeless situation in LA is overwhelming, so much so that i don't think it is worth visiting. i've read that santa barbara county has their own homeless situation. in your opinion, would that situation detract from having a proper vacation in santa barbara? thanks.
The homeless situation is heartbreaking in all of California and unfortunately I don't think it's going to get better any time soon. But there are so many beautiful places to visit and if you plan out your vacation and stay clear of those spots you can still enjoy your visit.
Looks like a beautiful place. I wonder how much of the problems were due to short-staffing with COVID? You probably know this tip but maybe some others don't if the mattress is substandard some places will get you an egg crate foam.
