The Empress Alexandra was an honest, very loving human being. She deeply loved her children and her husband. The realization that she had passed on hemophilia to her son Alexi absolutely tore her soul apart. If it had happened to me, I would have felt exactly the same way.
The reason she was so misunderstood had various reasons. She was raised in a different culture than those in Russia. The family felt it necessary to hide the fact that Alexi had hemophilia. So when Rasputin entered the situation, people thought there was something going on between the Empress and Rasputin because they didn't know the truth about Alexi.
Alexandra was a good person and she should be remembered that way. After everything she had to endure throughout her life, at least we can show her the respect she always deserved.
May she and her beautiful family rest in eternal peace.

Beautifully done, thank you 🌸. Whoever puts this content together, I just want to hug you, a very personal immense gratitude 🌟. Thanks for restoring the truth, the love and the real history that was hidden from the public after the 1917 revolution.

The love story between Tsar Nicholas II and Alexandra that began from childhood was the main thing that initially drew me to the Romanovs. And as I learned more & read into their story, there's really so much to understand from many angles I've yet to explore. Knowing that Alexandra was misunderstood in many aspects because of the challenges she faced makes her deserving of every insightful portrayal that explain her unique circumstances and quietly loving and honest personality :)

Couldn’t agree more with the comment Nicholas and Alexandra truly loved each other until the very end of their earthly life together

Oh my. I never knew she was effected with Trigeminal Neuralgia. I have it on the left side of my face since I broke out with Shingles thru the nerve in 2007.
    It's very painful.

May God bless and rest her soul. Her life was indeed a Golgotha, but may she flourish in Heaven now with those she so loved. 🌹

It was the nobility that spread the stories that she was cd and aloof. She wasn't what they wanted in a Czarina - she was not a fan of court intrigues & affairs. She didn't see the aristocracy as special - in fact she saw the majority of them as far less moral than the common people. She treated people based on character, not rank. She was truly devout in her Russian Orthodoxy. She was devoted to her family.
The nobility spoke & wrote ill of her because she made them look bad.
I think she would be a wonderful person to spend time with, but only for folks who weren't putting on airs.

Anything I have ever read about The Empress has been very good. That she dearly loved her husband, was a loving mother, had impeccably manners and was kind to everyone. Although I understand that at times she was depleted with ongoing depression, a fear of large crowds and debilitating migraines she still treated everyone around her with kindness, genuine warmth and cared for those in need. Anyone who hasn't come to these conclusions...simply hasn't read enough history! They are listening to things made up by Soviet propaganda!
I wish I could get a copy of this book. We named our last daughter Anastasia, because of my husband's love of the Romanov Family! Living in The United States it's sometimes difficult to find a reliable book seller to buy books! I know my husband would cherish a copy as would I. We both have a love of Royal History of the various Royal Families world wide.

      that
s very much true. If only all of the European, Asian and African countries ( minus the already remaining ones) remained as monarchies and weren't abolished.

❤🙏🌏 My Russian Grandparents came to the US during this time. Leo Tolstoy (apparently) helped their group get here to the US somehow. My cousins are Romano(ff's) in L.A. and imagine thousands more bc of their sacrifice. RIP Dear One

I don't understand why Czar Nicholas didn't move his family out of Russia immediately knowing he was going to abdicate. If anything save his children. He had aristocratic cousins in England. Why didn't he do that? The only thing I can come up with is that they were fated to be butchered by the Bolsheviks. Otherwise they would have fled and survived. Terrible.

She was a good person, she just lacked, like her husband, good judgement, which led to a bunch of issues, but she did everything she could to help the people, she served in hospitals alongside her daughters.
