Hi Daniel, For BigCommerce: Trials are not visible to the public. When your store is ready, you will need to launch it before people can start browsing and shopping your products. This also keeps search engines from indexing your store while you are still developing it. For Shopify: The same thing - you can use your trial to set up your store but before you can start selling your products or services, you will need to select your monthly plan and launch your shop. Which platform did you choose?
BigCommerce all day of the week.. Shopify has grown to big and quite frankly I wasnt to amazed with their so called support.. BigCommerce on the other hand.. 10 out of 10!
very helpful. little question - on Shopify, can you make the Homepage have a nice background color so that it looks more artistic and interesting, and simultaneously, have the catalogue just have a plain white background, so that it's easy to add photos of products on white backgrounds ? thanks.
thanks so much for the info. looking into starting a t-shirt business where we print our own shirts and sell them. going between big cartel and big ecommerce
I believe you need Google chrome for Shopify like if you are using orbelo, how about big commerce, this can be the big discission if you have a computer that does not work well with Google chrome... am I right on this?
Hi T Adams, Shopify requires an up-to-date web browser to make sure that you can use all of Shopify's features. They support the latest two versions of all browsers, unless otherwise noted. Browsers supported by Shopify include: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Apple Safari for iOS, Google Chrome for Android. BigCommerce supports most web browsers too. These include Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge (Stencil themes only), Android, Chrome Browser, iPhone Safari Browsers. *Internet Explorer 11 is not supported by all themes anymore. We hope this helps.
Sooo when people pay to your store and you are dropshipping, does the money go to your personal debit card so that you can buy the products or where does the money go
Hi Mabazenga, thanks for your question. Money will be sent to whoever/wherever the customer made their purchase online. That store will then forward the order and shipping details to the dropship supplier. Dependent on payment terms agreed upon between the dropshipper and the dropship supplier - payment will need to be sent to the dropship supplier for that particular sale accordingly.
sure both offer free trial, but how easy is it to transfer from one platform to another? im assuming the theme and template dont get saved, so how does that work? do u have to build ur shop from the ground up again?
Well, there is no easy answer that fits all migration processes. However, both platforms allow you to export customers, categories, products, orders & coupons. There are also useful third-party tools that can help you with that. So that's a first easy win. As far as theme migration, if you are already using a third-party theme, it's worth a shot to reach out to the creators to see if they have a Shopify or BigCommerce version too. Both platforms have excellent and easy to use page builder extensions/add-ons that can help you move without further development.
Hi Sandra, yes that is correct. If you are looking to expand beyond the regular tiered plans offered, monthly costs can start at around $2,000 or a variable fee for higher volume businesses. These variable pricing plans are at a large business or enterprise level. We hope this helps.
Hi nyogrson1, currently it appears that BigCommerce does integrate with Printify. On their app and integrations page, it currently does not appear as though they integrate with Teespring nor Redbubble.
@@IWDAgency thank you...I prefer teespring but it looks like Shopify no longer integrates with them either. At the moment it seems Big commerce is the best bang for buck
Hi Waleed, this video covers similarities and differences between Shopify and BigCommerce when it comes to their price plans, payment methods, usability, add-ons, and support. Case # 043907XX / To summarize, you cannot create modifiers/customizations importing products from a CSV, only rules. /Regards/Aaron/Technical Support Representative/support.bigcommerce.......... WE CANNOT CREATE PRODUCTS WITH CSV FILES WITH BIGCOMMERCE!!!! ... IT IS INCREDIBLE BECAUSE ALL SALES PLATFORMS WORK WITH EXCEL FILES OR CSV FILES .... THE MOST IMPORTANT IN THIS BUSINESS IS TO CREATE 500 OR 5000 PRODUCTS OR VARIATIONS IN EXCEL OR CSV FILES AND YOU DO NOT DO THIS .... IT IS AMAZING HOW INEFFICIENT YOUR SYSTEM IS.
Who is watching this after BIGC @100$ . Personally i wouldn't buy this till their ER ,it can plummet real hard. At 4 times its IPO value now ,nah , not buying it at this price.
@Blake that might be a bit rich.. but 240 with in 12-18month isnt impossible - with that said alot of things can happend in the market coming years.. i believe it possible that we could see 480a share in 5years or so!
Can you get your first sale during the free trial when you press launch the shop?

Can you show the difference between Euwid vs Shopify
Thanks for watching. We'll add this suggestion to our backlog of videos still to come.
