Omg.. Jesse you're in a video on Weird Food History. It's titled The Red Hot Rise and Unfortunate Fall of Red Robin . Too funny. Weird Food History is a great channel. They just posted a new one on Red Robin so i was watching and I was rubbing my eyes... " Hey that's Jesse!!! ." LOL. You're big time!
I've only been to Red Robin once near Atlanta. Interesting thing was my burger was bland and under seasoned yet they sell their burger seasoning at the restaurant and i bought it. Lol. It's actually a nice seasoning and i left it at my buddies cottage in northern Ontario and we've been using it for the last 6 or 7 years. But i never dug the actual burger i had at their restaurant. They have their beer license so that's nice. We don't have Red Robin here in Toronto. Have a nice weekend.
I wish I would've seen this video 3 days ago when I was working in Vancouver. I was literally working 3 blocks from a Red Robin. I probably would have ordered it with the avocado. We dont have Red Robin in Winnipeg.
The truck always a blast. The line that the truck storming through and messed the intro was awesome. Great as always and a great show to relax and enjoy.
I only go to Red Robin once a year for my birthday, since they give you a free burger on your birthday. Saves you a good $20 off the bill. Last two years, I've had the Bacon Fondue burger.
@@Mandy_30 no. But there's a lot of tree huggers in B.C. i think they've been paying extra for bags for about the last 5 to 10 years. Not positive on that though.
Don't forget to factor in that farcical AliExpress bag into the equation. The burger and fries actually looked good, but not at that price with JT's little tax discount added! The flimsy bag had to play the fall guy for Red Robin lol
Jeez the red well first up here uh Just but that price for the grub and carryall had us on the floor… plus no nappies. Small serving of unseasoned chips but burger size did look good. Lotsa ingredients on halving… Thankful we are going to the moon via crypto to afford this and no heat deserved to be in heaven with the avocado smash!
As for heat, it depends on who eats it. My wife would find something I barely register as spicy as mouth burning. So if you can take the burn, I think you need to take into account what a light weight would think. As for me if I were you I would put some of that reaper sauce on it and really kick up the heat. Actually when I eat out, I have a bottle of scorpion sauce in my pocket that I can use to add some heat and flavor to the normal bland fast food burger.
I don't like ketchup on my fries...too sweet...so I take a bottle of Heinz Chili Sauce with me. I alawys expect some grief at the restaurant, but the only place I get any is at A&W. When they come to tell me I can't use it there, I make it simple for them..."bring me a full refund or go away." They always go away. Haven't called the cops on me yet!
Its a stunt to gain dwindling public support by trudeau. Its only temporary. The real tax is the carbon tax which drives up the price of everything from farm through supply chain to retail to consumer. Thats why a burger and a dozen fries costs 22 fuckin bucks!
Jalapeño should at least add some spiciness and a bit of heat to the burger. That price is ridiculous, soon fast food will be only able to be affordable to the rich. Thanks for reviewing this so we don't have to.
$23?!?! Holy crap - I don't know Red Robin - is it considered fast food, like a McDonald's or Wendy's or is it a sit down restaurant chain like Brown's Socialhouse or Milestones? I mean either way $23 is insane.
Mine sucked, noteven spicy at all. I couldn't even notice the green chili aioli. I bet they take the seeds out. Love the Trudeau sucks part, he needs to go.
While I was on a Greyhound bus going to BC, I ate at what I thought was a Red Robin, but I think it wasn't. Microwaved food, lol. It looks good, but for that price, I'd order a Baconator :) Three and a half days on a bus to see BC, and it was a blast, lol. (Awesome review. One day I'll wake up cooking breakfast in the apron you have. Gimme it's Xmas) :)
I'm not sure why people like McDonalds fries, they are always terrible. They're the worst cut fry on earth which is shoestring, and they're almost never fresh because they cook giant batches, and when they are fresh, they forget the salt. I would much rather have Wendy's fries...
I had no clue about the video, I was told by a subscriber. I was surprised that they put me in there too. Great review, I like their burgers too!
Lost it at the bag throw hahaha

I caught that at 4:12 in the video lol Thanks!
The dirty Bird as we called in my dish washing days, lol
Haha
When they charge five guys prices and fail to deliver that's insane

The fries were supposed to have the seasoning as well
@@JFRJessei just saw you in a Red Robin video. It's on the UA-cam channel Weird Food History. The rise and fall of Red Robin.

I didn't know that
Me too! Only go once a year lol
Robbin’ you blind lol
No Red Robin location here so probably a good thing
Since when have fastfood places started charging for bags?
In my province of BC only
@JFRJesse has it always been like that?
@@Mandy_30 no. But there's a lot of tree huggers in B.C. i think they've been paying extra for bags for about the last 5 to 10 years. Not positive on that though.
@ oh didn’t know that… any other additional fees there?
Always ask for extra fries with takeout orders for Red Robin they do not charge for that otherwise they will barely give you any fries
That bag was thrown on the floor so hard, I bet it left a dent
Haha
Do you ever eat some more off the board after the smash if you're hungry? I would hate to have to go cook something else for dinner!
I already ate breakfast
Don't forget to factor in that farcical AliExpress bag into the equation. The burger and fries actually looked good, but not at that price with JT's little tax discount added! The flimsy bag had to play the fall guy for Red Robin lol
That bag throw was awesome with your face and a terrible smash
You can actually see the hammer prints in the crushed food. Hahahahaa!!!
yep
You should rate the price-performance ratio too.
Red Robin's had a jalapeño burger some years ago.. let me tell you. I was on fire 🔥.. but it was awesome
I would buy nothing from Red Robin ever
Red robin gonna go out of business soon
Do you have a Costco nearby Jesse ? they have some great frozen pizzas you should review , The Gino Bambino is one to try and the detroit style one
I did the Detroit style.
@JFRJesse try the Gino Bambino. You will love it!
Glad you are remembering to use protection on the smash I assume you have to wear it work at all times while in mine
Yes, I wear them all the time.
Dang for Canada Red Robin is only in British Columbia.
Yes, my bad
For bottomless fries they should give a little more than that when u do takeout, but then their bags would rip.
Haha yes.
I mean they did give it to you in a sweet container. Just embrace the no bag life!
one of the most expensive burgers you've tried
Barely any fries

No napkins had me fuming.
Red robin has gone down hill in quality but up a steep cliff in price. It’s sad because they used to be amazing.
Spicy review? I guess it gets a 6.0 maybe a 6.5. LETS GOOOOOO
Love you Jesse enjoy your day off
i would appreciate a review of the pc popppadoms, I'm sure other people would also
I disagree

I do take that into account,I don't think anyone would have death burn from this.

You should have knocked another 3 points off the score for that insane price 😂
Tax break is nice tho...
It's not free

I miss red robins we dont have them anymore in Edmonton
Good video
1st time I've ever heard of Red Robin 🤷♂️
I think it might be along the West Coast down into the US
He lives in like Alberta I think
@BenSanchez-n6w bc
Looks to be 4-5 bananas hanging in the background. This time with no apples. No apples present.
There's 2 now
@RonFraser-fl5yc if you're auditioning to be the guy that does this you are going to need to be way more accurate. Guesstimates are unacceptable.
Should do the big arch but substitute the sauce with big mac sauce! It's delicious
Interesting
You must be in BC cause that’s the only place Google says has a robins in Canada
I forgot it was a West thing
Jalapeño should at least add some spiciness and a bit of heat to the burger. That price is ridiculous, soon fast food will be only able to be affordable to the rich. Thanks for reviewing this so we don't have to.
Avocado does extremely suck on a burger, especially when trying to make a spicy burger it’ll just cool it down
For that price, and being the only Red Robin (never heard of it before this vid) in Canada, I would have expected at least an 8.5/10 lol
Haha, I think last time I reviewed it, they burnt the burger.
It looks so good, sad that it sucks
why upset about not paying tax?
I just think it's a gimmick
@@JFRJesseGimmick or not, why complain?
dont lie you ate the fries and threw the burger away on clean up lol
I did not
avocado never works on a sandwich...never
My favorite thing with food reviews... they have been sitting steaming in a bag for 30 mins... omg they arent crispy
It wouldn't have saved the day
Never Heard of Red Robin in my life lol
Holy price.
Not gonna lie , im a little jello there’s no red robin or triple o’s in my city .
Triple O's for sure.
Red Robin just sucks for the price especially since Chilis and Applebees are doing $10 big Burger and fries promotions in the USA.
Yeah for sure.
Go ahead smash it
And the other thing... Steak cut fries always a worse choice even if they're signature.
For sure.
Love their bottomless steak fries, not an item to takeout tho gotta be fresh
Stupid price for a burger and fries even if it was terrific
Red Robin's Only BC if only came to ont.
$23?!?! Holy crap - I don't know Red Robin - is it considered fast food, like a McDonald's or Wendy's or is it a sit down restaurant chain like Brown's Socialhouse or Milestones? I mean either way $23 is insane.
It's a sit down
It's definitely sit-down.
Impressive bananas.
Thanks.
Aren't you the guy who collects the shopping carts at my local Superstore?
I do not
@@s.williamshay6702 aren't u the homeless guy Jesse gives the smashed food to?
Paying 23 bucks for a burger. I see why you have great health care in Canada. Those banana's deserve aprons witnessing this.
I have little banana aprons
I wonder if the avocado canceled out the spiciness? And yes Trudeau sucks and great review.
Avocado on a burger is just wrong.
Yep
Mine sucked, noteven spicy at all. I couldn't even notice the green chili aioli. I bet they take the seeds out. Love the Trudeau sucks part, he needs to go.
$23 CAD? Just ordered this for lunch here in Arizona and it came out to $18.77 USD w/tax. And they threw in a free Coca-Cola
In Canada yes.
$23 CAD is about $16 USD, and we have a tax “holiday” going on right now

I didn’t know there was a red Robin in Canada
Yes we do.
We used to have them in Edmonton, but not anymore sadly.
Nothing in the centre of the universe. We only recently got Triple O’s
Why are you always so aggravated? Relax dude....
That was me relaxed!
@JFRJesse bahahahahaa, maybe work on it.... woooooosaaaaww🧘🏻♀️
talk about expensive !!
How much tax did you save on that?
1 dollar
Is jessie racist on trucks lol
Royal red it was lol and did you like the heatwave burger if you did ill be going there with coach mike tonight
It wasn't very spicy, the patty was good.
I would take the steak cut fries over mcd's fries any day ! Anyway overpriced !
Call it a Jalapeno Heatwave & it's not even spicy + $23 for that & half a handful of frozen fries lol, Rather go to McDonald's.
20 some dollars I could go to a restaurant and get a 3 course meal for that.
Where tell me
😂🤣😂😂 no you can't..... Restaurants are a scam more so than fast food...
No bueno....LOL.
The price is highway robbery
No Red Robin in Ontario and that is a good thing after your review. Over 20 Dollars for that crap, wow.
i basically have to eat for a week for that price...
I know
It is a slow burn, so maybe it'll come in an hour.😀 Btw, there is no Red Robin in Ontario, which is where I live.
I wouldn’t complain about the tax thing too much. You just saved way more than cutting the carbon tax ever will.
Dumbest shit ive heard today. Good job
ummm no?
@shawnfoogle920 The carbon tax adds about 0.5% to the cost of food. The GST is 5%.
