I've got some advice here for those who just started this year: 1. Just run straight to FP or to SB, you need scraps to get started on farming more money, I recommend getting Ironsight as your first rifles as soon you put 120 level on your rifle prof. 2. As usual, don't spread your stats, AGI is first, and then strength ( if you want MG + reactive armor build in the future ) or go for reload and crit. 3. With recent update in DF3D's content, ammo such as .38 and 7.5mm are pricy as hell, so you might wanna take advantage on staying in FP and loot more there to gain fast cash faster since Outpost marketplace has been merged. 4. Don't get overwhelmed by the price inflation in marketplace, more content had lead this game to a much higher price gouging than usual, try to conserve your ammo as much as you can and only use it for grinding your character exp to certain level, boss hunting is good with rifle as long you play in multiplayer. 5. GM is important, and THANK FUCKING GOD, that you can now purchase GM as F2P for 200 credits, it might sound expensive but it is worth it once you can handle both bossing and Bandit hunting without a problem, you'll get better loot and exp as well so keep this advice as a suggestions instead because it's not that needed for new player yet. 6. Don't give up, you can talk in the DF Discord server, lots of nice people and they can help you out more. You might find me there and i might help you or I'm just gonna say "no" in a joke manners. There's a lot of changes made to this game that I'm glad it did, those who still playing, I know you all can kick the long arm's ass... Stay safe.
When I was in the Discord server. Several people kept telling me contradictory things about which stats I should prioritize after Agility. Every time I showed them they all said rather bluntly, "Your stats are shit!"
@@MrPigeonnn with the current stats overhaul, so far so good, since you use 100 strength you gotta understand how big it'll impact you, but a reactive armor can means you surviving or dying... One thing you're lacking is the reload, 25 base? Should've gotten more on it, unless you're playing melee entirely... Your minigun will suffer from a really slow reload cause of it. Despite what I said earlier... Going for 100 strength early on is risky until you reach lvl 100, I suggest you to spend some points for reload stats and then go for Crit hit if you're using Crit focused weapon...
@@Riley_MDS Right now I'm focusing on critical hits. I use Melee mostly and my gun is for grinding and horde clearing. What should I get my reload at before going back to CH?
Haven't touched DF in a long old time. Since like the 2012? haha It's nice to come back and hear more insight on the game. I was never super high level and pretty much a scrub the whole time haha but it was fun to play and loot.
Hey man! Been waiting for this episode :) All good points, especially with the ammo part. If you would do the math, the time it will take for f2p to loot juicy weapons/equips would be too long as compared to looting high end ammos (12.7mm/14mm/.55 etc).. you could also keep them and wait for a surge in prices that way you could easily make more money. dried truffles are also good to sell if you have a level 75 chef, especially when they are in demand, they would sell from 7-10k ish.. anyways great content as always peace! :D
_"So you wanna make money eh?_ _Just send me all your stuff and I'll send you back two of them 😉😉"_ - your friendly south east asian dead frontier player.
To add the bandit and the burning zombies especially the rumblers in the north east white zone are basically free money. Even as a non GM you spend like 2k ammo depending on the weapon but you can get like 100k return since there are 3 or more of them (dogs and long arms while rumblers give 4). The bandit was also a good idea because you need to do a good amount of damage and be in green to go idle and still loot them.
I just started playing the game, found some nails and figured they could have a good price at the market, sold them 7k lol. Found wooden planks now haha Im level 11 and still have to do something about low level food not being as useful anymore, will this be a problem? Should i travel to another zone or something?
Tbh it's sorta the same with DF2. 1. Since everything is RNG in loot even for GM only pick the best stuff or do quick loot runs nearby outposts to get in get out. 2.Ammo is the way to go. Always sell in full stack though they sell faster and easier than %of a stack 3. Scrap everything else that won't sell. Though in DF1 it is p2w if you have GM or credits. You can still buy credits in-game and still buy all the GM loot from the market. The GM not 100% always giving you good loot keep the high prices high. The added bonus of DF1 are the mini boss flaming rumblers, dogs, or long arms and the bandits. Around 3-6 potential loots mean better chances and more items to scrap. Even a pistol or melee worth 3k goes along way if you scrap 3-5 of them (anywhere from 12k-20k for the lowest scrap value items). Aside from bandits you can let other people do the dirty work. The ones with ghost ammo or unlimited ammo weapons won't waste much if at all in-game money (not credits). So it's a win win for everyone involved.
My method is as follows 1. Get Melee to 120 and Agility to 100 2. Loot and sell as my man Rmando said in this vid 3. Get a high end armor (preferably Exterminator Reactive XT or even Exterminator Reactive) then enhance it to at least have 23-24 agi 4. Get Rifle to 120, then get a high end rifle (577 Rex is fine, if possible get Ironsight) 5. Start boss hunt with the rifle to minimize cost of hunt, preferably on a map with fenced areas (1 Right from Secronom Bunker is a prime example) 6. ??? 7. Profit
Were you playing on standalone client because I noticed that when you were loading it popped for a second on the menu and back to game mine does that all the time when going from one area to another and just wanted to see if yours does the same.
Wont that cause an infinte horde of zombies to come and kill ya? When I shotgun my way in any place (level 21) than this infinite horde starts chasing me :(
Idk if u still play but I have credits for 1m on marketplace, friend told me about the game and I got gold and with that I got 200 free credits and I need some starting cash to help grind the annoying first levels, just saying this incase you see it before it gets sold and you can make an easy profit off it
1 mill is actually a hard carry strat when you start with GM off the bat. Though unless you sell in Precent 13 or Secronom Bunker most other outposts don't have the players with the mad cash to buy them sadly. What you can do is make 2 characters. 1 with xp boost and max agility and 1 whatever you wanna lvl up. Get the xp boost to secronom or P-13 asap. Then sell the credits for cash and rush towards the first area your main character will be in and just buy whatever you need and transfer via trade.
well , if i as a rifle+shotgun lvl 65 ace barell user go for 4 long arms 2 blocks away and there are 2-3 wraith canon players stacked on them , what's the purpose of even trying to help unless to not get bored while i do get damaged since the place is chaotic and then just go back , scrap the shit and then go for a loot run untill the boss spawn resets to add up some cash from 8b and stuff like that looted around , can't even go for grind yet i need some more sht , like a worg + idk some more beastly shitgun to knock up zombie more than i kill , while i don't even scratch the surface cuz i need to go for a good explosive , barely 32 points on them -_- , i do really think that f2p is an abused term for that cuz the difference between non gm and gm is just 8 bucks a month , i mean cmon , are we kids or smt , dad would't let us buy things on games ? seriously playing around fooling with sht and you just pay the electricity bill more than the gm itself .
Tbh past lvl 50 yeah best sit back and watch them mow them down if you don't got high damage or dps weapons. You can help but mostly to clear the normal zombies for them to focus on the bosses. I run a shotgun + grenade build to quickly get rid of zombies and then wait for them to kill the main bosses for ez loot. I waste less ammo and money, they waste less time killing the bosses and we all go our separate ways afterwards. Except bandits those you gotta damage alot to get in the yellow / green bar and get loot to drop from them once they are killed.

For me,I would recommend the newbies to loot until you get ur first million, and you can start to invest on implants and the weapon parts.buy them when the price is low and sell it when its high. Then after that you can look for some of the armour that the price can be freaking high some time,do some research on that. Some of them I earned like afew mil of profit with just 1 item. Exp: experimental part, mannberg part, hunter implant, exp implant and many more. Lastly is like what mentioned by Rmando my guy,the credits is also one of the long term investment.(This only works when you have your first 10 mil then you can grow fast,if not its not recomended) Pin me if I'm right😂
but some of them are crap in merch, the easiest part is boss/bandit hunt and lootrun and also in bandit hunt they can loot Exp. Parts they can sell it or save it (not to upgrade) to sell it to MP
