So many of us are slaves to algorithm's nowadays - I have a business on eBay and not many realise how much you are controlled by an algorithm called Cassini. If you don't jump through all the hoops, Cassini will punish you in ways you can't imagine (total listing blackout or just so you don't get smart and wise up to what it's doing....selective city level blackout, so your listing show's up in your region but nowhere else).
Everyone is also on a conveyor belt - you take it in turn's to be promoted by eBay's Cassini...and i'm not talking about paid promotion, just any listing. How much time you get in the spotlight is based on how much Cassini likes you - which is based on many many factors, much like UA-cam.
Sure James if you keep doing your thing, interesting content that folk want to watch, the bigger numbers and earnings will follow. Keep grafting mate. Just takes time / your effort. 🙏
