It would be nice if we could just play rifts with random people, the only reason I even play them is because of the missions and events, but its not that fun.
Ehh, don't let FOMO take advantage of you. If you want it, get it. One higher quality skin or two skins for free is kinda amazing. Presumably there will be another time to get these and probably for free the same way. Last stream they hand-picked a Q+A question asking if certain events like Dia De Muertos will return and they were like "gee gawsh, idk, if you guys want that" so yeah, they are going to coincidentally have a Mythic Vista event in a year or so.

I understand micro transactions and ongoing games, but Multiversus has a cheeky way of putting limiters on you for playing the game more than spending on the game. They took away fighter currently and implemented fighter road, which would be fine if you could pick which character you wanted for the fighter road-- you can't. There's less galemium rewarded in the battle since season 1 to now, there's more toast rewards for some odd reasons, and skins/taunts are getting more expensive on average with the lowest being 500 for a pallet swap. These limiters are to limited the people who will grind hard enough to earn about 4 to 6 skins, but now players are limited to 2 skins. It's clearly obvious they're saying, "fork over the cash" because the skins could be legendaries not elusives but Warner Brothers feeds into the "FOMO", which might deter people away than play the game-- starting to feel like a pay to win. And these are micro transactions, these are macro transactions because $50 is not chump change for 2 skins. And if you want all 5 skins you need to cough up $100 to get 12,500 galemium to obtain 24 tickets for tge event, BUT you will only be able to get 4 out of the 5 ELUSIVE skins. To obtain the last elusive skin you will need to play online battles/ rifts to get the remaining 6 tickets for the last skin. Alternative option is to spend more galemium to earn more points to get the tickets but that's a stupid idea. So, $100 for 4 skins, that is disgusting and disrespectful to players. Yes people can refuse to buy any of the skins, but that's not Warner Brothers goal, they make the skins so you WANT to get them, which is why some skins are basic/plain and some are dine really well with new animations/voice lines. Personally i don't see why they don't put these elusive skins in the Prestige store...oh wait, because it doesn't make them MONEY. I don't like this direction because more and more skins are going to be $50+ and next thing you know by Season 8 some players would have spent $2,000 USD and that's not everything from Season 1 through 3. @roushi1361 Question 1: No, I don't need all of the skins but I don't like the limit of I use all my earnable tickets for 1 elusive skin when they bother to make 5. To enjoy at least 10 characters a banner, skins, taunts, and profiles (the flavor aspects of the game) you have to pay--and so I did. For Multiversus, I'd say I've spent about $75 on it to have a couple of unique things in the game but very far from all of it's content. The Battle passes are not free, you either save your galemium or buy more with real world currency. I'm fine with the battlepasses being $5 to $10 because I treat them as DLC but $10 isn't $50. Beetlejuice has a "legendary" emote for 1k gleemium. I wish they got their heads out of their asses and lowered their prices for some stuff. They'd probably end up earning more money since I'm sure theirs collectors out there. Going back to it, limiting currency needed to purchase skins for certain events is a super scummy practice not even Nexon or netease would do, that says a lot.
@anthonyg1307 Yeah this Event Limit was never a thing until they started in the Batman Anniversary Event, but at least you were able to get 4 skins and a character if you wanted to. @@iRockz-555 I would be more than happy to see $30 skins of that quality left and right and while it is awesome that you can get one for free, the thing I dislike the most is the fact they use FOMO as a tool to have a higher percentage of purchases. I grinded not even a whole lot for the Dr. Quinzel skin and I'm hella satisfied and find it a steal that I have the one fo the highest rarity skins in the game and have spent $0 dollars. If people want more than 1 elusive skin from the same event, then putting in real money is more than reasonable, they are the best skins in the game after all. Can't expect to have it all for free or even for a low price. I think what they're doing is fine.
Agree to Disagree I guess
@@CrazyNoc Ofcourse that's only for elusive skins. I do feel like they've def made very poor decisions in the past seasons.
@@iRockz-555 I would be more than happy to see $30 skins of that quality left and right and while it is awesome that you can get one for free, the thing I dislike the most is the fact they use FOMO as a tool to have a higher percentage of purchases. (I know they will bring back but still is FOMO) It’s not the most scummy practice out there but I dislike that because let’s be real, just as drugs, food, alcohol are addictive, the same goes for skins and FOMO.
@@CrazyNocOh yeah totally agree with that being scummy since they are "elusive" and may not be always available. But I think another commenter around here said it best 🤣, we shouldn't let FOMO scare us since the chance of them bringing them back is pretty high. It is a scummy practice nonetheless fully agree.
But I am mostly referring to people that are pretty greedy themselves wanting a lot of these skins with a low investment of money or time, even if they were just another rarity and 100% confirmed return.
