I found two that you missed, though one of them I can't fault on on: 1 - the MISC Fiera, everyone's favorite fire hazard! I can't remember where it's mentioned, but I think it's in the lore around the MSR, as part of the lore of the 'fugitive' ship that was part of the website game during its announcement. 2 - the Drake Lobster. This is actually part of the lore surrounding Consolidated Outland's Silas Koerner, who is described as owning the only prototype of it to still exist, although it has never been unpacked from the crate (or crates) it was delivered in.
The Banu Defender would be suitable based on fuel range. If you believe Drake marketing the Cutlass Black is supposed to be a cheap patrol craft from local militias. Owning a Cutlass Black myself I can vouch for it's good fuel range.
@Phoenix storm Yeah I'd love to see it fleshed out. I THINK there was also a reference to a UEE Cruiser at some point early on in the development but I can't find any reference to it.
@@kyletimmons421 in the stretch goals they have promised both a Cruiser and a Battle Cruiser, but it is hard to talk about ships that haven't even been named, much less given any lore...
A collier is a type of bulk carrier and, in the context of space, would carry granular or powdered materials such as bauxite, rice, wheat, haematite, etc. Bulk carriers are not for inexperienced captains. Bulk cargo relies on internal friction to hold its form - so if it gets wet, either through a leak or a homocidally negligent loading company (much more common than many might think), then the cargo acquires its own momentum, independently of the ship, during turns - which transfers back to the ship as spurious rotations. At sea, this can cause a ship to broach and sink very quickly. In space, this could make a ship do some very strange and unexpected things.
I've actually been modeling a Tevarin Jackal. I've made it slightly larger than the Talon, with a rear entrance that takes mild inspiration from the Prowler, seating for two, wings that fold and tuck like a real bird, and spots for a pair of Tevarin skates.
RSI snub/racer would be nice. But I am hoping for the original cargo version of Origin 600. But I doubt we will see it since they now cater to higher end clientele. Another banger, I should read more, had no idea there was so many ships in the background. Thank you.
Honestly it would be nice to see something like the Jupiter come in game. Yeah it may be massive. But cig is also building a massive game with massive orgs that'll need ships with massive room to transport equipment, vehicles, ships, etc. It would also be nice that they would bring in a transport with side hangars instead of every ship having a lift door.
It's a shame there's no mention of the "Strongback" Material Haulers contribution to early construction of ArcCorp. NEWSFLASH: There's been several unconfirmed reports of disappearance of two of the three remaining "Strongback" Material Hauler's from their restoration facilities. Updates when available.

@@The_Opinion_of_Matt Unfortunately with the TUMBRIL Nova Tonk, I don’t think they’d reuse the name for another vehicle, but it’d be easier to handwave it to something like Nebula
I hope the RSI Nova comes out eventually as a racing ship. Friend of mine has an M50 but loves RSI. Would love for him to be able to grab that while I run around in my M50.
I too think that we see a new RSI Racer pretty soon. About the datarunning part, i am not so sure just yet. Looking at the Herald, that would be a super light data ship on a racer chassis. But a Tevarian heavy fighter? Oh yes please.
Personally I'd like to see the Jupiter class. I like the Kraken because it appeals to me as a carrier, however I'm normally partial to Crusader Industries. If the Jupiter was something that would compete with the Kraken, that would be awesome. It's cool to see that there are a lot more ships in lore than what we have already seen. While I really would like CIG to prioritize and complete the long backlog of ships they already put up for sale, once those are all done and released and funding continues for SC, I'd think it would be cool if CIG went and started making those old ships as well.
It would be very cool, if these lore ships get at least some visualisations in encyclopedias in game... or as shipwreck outposts (instead of more modern ones). No need to have them flyable, but they could help to make the current flyables more believeable.
Great video Paul! The only one I noticed missing was the Banu Pathfinder (might have just missed it while listening) which doesn’t go with the theme of the video.
@@TheAstroHistorian I'm sorry I said pathfinder, it's "Triptaker" or whatever Banu equivalent name they decide to give it. The Banu equivalent to a Connie. Vaguely described in the lore post "A Gift for Baba."
What about a family ship, An affordable, simple, “Multi crew” ship kinda like the minivan of ships. Or Atmo only ships/shuttles that would/could be faster than traditional ships but restricted to atmospheric flight 🤷🏾♂️
Good stuff, as usual, Paul. Just one itty-bitty, teenie-tiny note though. It's pronounced "in-dee-fuh-teeg-uh-bull". About 13 minutes 55 seconds in. Got sketchy there! ✌😉

I've actually made a fan designed DRAKE Lobster and it is a fantastic ship.

Idris & Javelin, or just any ship that isn't small class
@playo9197 not what I meant. And not the same role. Those are capital craft not smaller patrol vessels

6:00 Racing is NOT a new game play loop. It was originally the only way to earn credits when I joined the Verse in December 2017

I expect the Nova Racer to get renamed, but it would be a welcome addition to their lineup!
I could see it being name simply the RSI Nova, dropping the racer tag. This opens up the opportunity for a faster version named the Super Nova (lol).

The original 600 model seems to be missing. Also those Hawk variants seem awesome and I'd love to see them as a Hawk pilot myself. Great video though!
After the rework, the Exploration variant looks like it might fill that role fairly well
I hope my hawk flies better in atmosphere when 3.18 finally hits.
WOW! Paul!
You did an amazing job putting this together!
