I would like to personally thank you Jeff for what you give us. Your advice and teaching helped me land my biggest buck yet to date with my bow this week! Taxidermist said he is close to 150 class here in CT! 30 years + hunter. Never to old to learn!

Yep. Just in time for youth rifle season. Should be awesome for my son. Used to be annoyed with rifle seasons during my bow season. But now I love it for my sons. How things change

Love it! Next weekend is opening day of bow season in SWVA but hopefully some hunting pressure on neighboring properties will get some new visitors

Excellent video! Big difference hunting here in Florida Swamps. But definitely same approach for stand selection.

Thanks a lot for the comment...I bet the habitat is VERY different, but the concepts still apply.

Just got back from out west yesterday and checked some cameras midday. I noticed a nice bear using a small plot of rye the past two nights right at last light. My brother had a tag and slipped in with the right wind and got him coming right into the water hole. It was on the edge of our property where there wasn’t much deer using that spot likely due to the bears and wolves in that area. Pretty cool hunt the way it worked out. Love the content Jeff!

I hate to give someone an
IOU but Jeff, most of your info I've been able to implement.
Plots, chemicals, mock scrapes, water holes, switch grass, stand and blind strategies, ultimate no till planting rotation, and I could go on, but anyways, Thanks for the knowledge you've shared with us all.
Some day, I'm going to be first. Lol

Right now I love getting in a “touch” early for the afternoon. Settle into my stand and take a nice mid day nap 20-25 ft up. Lol.
I’m in the woods about to settle in and see what happens

I own my own hunting property, but it’s only 20 acres of timber. It’s a part of at least 800 acres of solid timber, but it’s all small, privately owned parcels, anywhere from 20 acres to 40 acres each. I really don’t have many options of where to place a stand on my small parcel of land.

What you have taught me is very valuable. My go to spot has 1 entry between 2 corn feilds and it's down into a canyon. In early season you are literally walking through the food so I need to get out there much earlier in the afternoon so my thermals are not being pulled down into the canyon. Also I've been hunting the bed location in the a.m but based on the layout I don't think there is a good way to get on a bed without spoiling them on the way in.

My driveway runs right through my two food plots( matter of fact my house faces both these food plots) I have to walk down ny driveway between these two food plots to get to my trail that leads to my morning stand. My other stand is 60 yards from my front door. I can only hunt on south wind. So, I spook deer leaving in the morning to go to back and I blow them out in the evening when I get down to go into the house. I'm screwed

But he can't let people see the weekend forecast no more without paying up. This is criticism not hate I love watching his videos and learning but you have to be a critical thinking person
