Technically there isn't such a thing as the best Christine. It's all a matter of who is your favourite. A matter of whose portrayal speaks to you personally. Anna and Sierra are both very different vocally and acting-wise. But so wonderful in their own way. Each have a deep passion for the charatcer and vocies that soar beautifully. If I were in a situation where I had to choose seeing Anna or Sierra live as Christine. I would pick Anna. I love Sierra dearly but Anna just has something special.
Anna is purely adorable and marvelous in POTO and LND, but please people lets stop comparing her to Sierra. If Anna did Phantom25 then she would just be as popular as Sierra, but she didn't so not as many people get to experience Anna's voice. She wasn't well known until LND, that is what brought me here.
I love them both equally. They have different styles in both acting and voice, and part of theatre is celebrating those differences. Both of their styles make perfect sense for Christine.
I have to say that I love Sierra, Katie Hall and Anna the most. They make three different Christines. Sierra's voice is probably weaker than Anna's but her acting is just great. Anna O'Byrne is simply lovely. She's beautiful, young and talented. She sounds like a victorian liric singer and it fits the character but as for her acting, she's not convincing me.
