- It is very easy to fall into the trap of looking only at the surface of people, things, and ideas without taking the time to dive deeper into them. Kobi Kihara speaks to David Wachira, public sector specialist at the World Bank, we discuss breaking down religious stereotypes and giving back to the community.

“No matter where you come from your dreams are valid “
Valid Dreams = hard work, persistence and timing
Well put 💖
Inspiring and encouraging, this man and his family will go far..
The family is willing to give back to community. I really like this
David rocks!!!
Awesome and very inspiring! God bless you David as you pursue your dream. Professor Waigwa, you have shown us (young parents in diaspora) the way. Thank you sir!
What a great host you are. Congratulations!
Great testimony David Wachira and your family.
Wow great and very visionary family I really like the passion they have
Just greatly blessed listening to David's and his family's life stories most especially with God being centered in all their endeavors and in reaching their dreams in life.
I learnt about humility from this mukorino when he was interviewed somewhere. Jeez if it were me ningekuwa prison juu ya kuumiza mtu 😂😂 I pray I find such heart, forgiving, humble and happy. Nice to see an open minded mukorino we used to think ngurino are just ngurino. 😂
The parents sitted there watching their children shine am sure they are very proud of them. Wazazi wangu machos tu... 😂
Now this is what we call a blessed family and one that wants to help the less privileged.
Such a great interview, pulls out the servant heart that's in me!
The akorino are great people. I like their resilience.
They are and a great blessing to the community.

The power of an opportunity put into good use. Wow!! May God continue to bless the Waigwa family.
How amazing as you said purpose is not one
Love this family
Wow wow wow just wow
Kobi was such a breath of fresh air, but KOT bullied her our of a flourishing career.
That makes me so mad at times
God Bless You
Powerful
Brilliant guy
Awesome !!! please keep doing it
unfortunately the akorino suffer discrimination even here at home in schools and public service. Think of sponsoring a centre of excellence for akorino children here in Kenya. Empower them. Doctors, nurses, engineers etc.
Great watching from Washington DC love it
My thoughts exactly......its about time we change that narrative. Wakorino should be represented in all Government institutions including Parliament. They are a force to reckon with. 👏👏
@@sarahshivegah1199 Sarah I'm watching here from Dallas Texas ... cheers .

Usually American accents get deeper the younger you go with the Kenyan siblings of those Families who moved there as the youngest here i guess was born there and is only used to the American culture.

is it possible for these people to connect me to a phD scholarship in molecular biology?
Reach out it sure is very possible. I wish you the best.
Inquire with Biotech companies/research organizations in Boston, Massachusetts. That's the home of all things Bio in the US. Drop your Email I hook you up with a few Kenyans I know in Mass. Meanwhile Google Dr. Kariuki Njenga; he got a ton of dollars from the CDC last year for guys like you. Best luck.
great interview

Dr David Wachira what happened to his wife
You know it's so interesting how someone can sound so put together but can be so dead in mind and soul. Testament to this: Because of the positive things he speaks of and all the beautiful black women in the world. look what he chooses to take as a life partner. As a black woman, I am not impressed nor do I apologize for feeling this way. Question: Why don't prominent white men do this? Answer: Because their minds and souls have not been colonized.
Alafu ndio unaskia msee akisema "Show ya leo nimeona watu wengi na wakorino sita" as if wakorino sio watu
