Orchestra conductors have the duty of indicating who, when, and what is playing. Windshield wipers likely aren't built for that particular wind shield and its curvature, leaving the triangle of doom. It can also just be faulty or if its the upper right/left areas, it just cant reach without compromising and complex designs that break down faster.
With personal experience i can say that orchestra conductors are some of the most important people there because they keep time, indicate who is playing, believe it or not do NOT indicate how loud dynamics are in the music and if one person makes one wrong move without a conductor it’s all coming down. So in conclusion, conductors are incredibly important and I wouldn’t have a career without them.
The reason why windshield wipers don’t clean the whole window is because the parts that it doesn’t clean aren’t in your main viewing area and is not a danger and making a new system would mean more joints and more joints mean it would cost more and higher risk of breaking and needing to be replaced. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it
I feel like the main reason for them is that people are way more likely to actually go together with visual queues on what to do. Like for beat and to get louder or quiet
Conductors are essentially a metronome for the musicians. They move there baton up, down, left and right to keep everyone in time. They also queue in the musicians.
Windshield wipers can sometimes be a source of annoyance due to various reasons. One common issue is the noise they make, often described as squeaking, chattering, or juddering. This can be caused by a number of factors, including the buildup of dirt and grime on the windshield or the wiper blades themselves. Over time, the rubber of the wiper blades can deteriorate, leading to reduced flexibility and a less smooth motion across the glass. Additionally, if the wiper blades are not the correct size for the vehicle or are installed improperly, they may not make proper contact with the windshield, resulting in ineffective clearing of water and producing irritating sounds. Weather conditions can also affect wiper performance; for instance, extreme temperatures can either harden or soften the rubber, impacting its function. Furthermore, a lack of lubrication from windshield wiper fluid can cause the blades to drag across the glass, creating noise and potentially damaging the windshield. Regular maintenance, such as cleaning the windshield and wiper blades, checking for correct installation, and replacing the blades when necessary, can help mitigate these issues and ensure that the wipers perform their essential role quietly and effectively.
The windshield thing: Windshield wipers can't always clean the entire window because of their design limitations, primarily due to the curvature of the windshield, the wiper blade's limited length, and potential issues like worn-out blades or improper wiper arm alignment, which can prevent them from reaching certain areas effectively, leaving streaks or spots on the glass.
The orchestra’s conductor cues specific sections to do certain things on time, but mainly keeps everyone on tempo. It’s a little complex to explain if you don’t play an instrument, but the hand movements they do are assigned to different beats in a measure (usually in 4/4 or 3/4 time), and they do them at a perfect speed so everyone can easily coordinate. Personally, I just use muscle memory like you said, but a conductor is still a valuable thing to have.

1. There are a few causes: either your wiper blades or windshield aren't clean, the wiper arm is bent, or your wiper blades need replacing. First, give your windshield and wiper blades a deep cleaning. Wipe down the windshield with a strong glass cleaner. Clean 2. (this is the reason why orchestra needs conductors) While the conductor does show other things while conducting, like the meter, dynamics, character, or articulation of the music, once an orchestra gets started it can pretty much keep playing even if the conductor decides to walk off the stage. It's important to understand that an orchestra can play without a conductor. 3.Disadvantages of checking accounts: No interest: While some checking accounts earn interest, most don't. After the Wall Street crash, laws were put in place for banks to make sure this doesn’t happen again
As a person who plays electric guitar and trombone, the orchestra conductor has a really important roll. A trombone and baritone (low brass) most likely will have a different part then lead instruments such as trumpet, sax, clarinet, and French horn and a couple others. Also low brass might play the same song but at different times to make a chord. So the orchestra conductor cues and tells certain people when to play. ALSO they keep a tempo for the band. I practice using a metronome, and that’s what an orchestra conductor does. He keeps the tempo and rythem for the whole band. I mean half the time I don’t use an orchestra conductor because I’m a metal guitarist and stuff. But trombone does have a much more important role due to keeping the beat because we are the loudest. So yeah that’s what an orchestra conductor is.
Because of how the way the windshield wipers are built, there's always gonna be that gap, and if you put the windshield wipers a little bit to the right, it's gonna make a big fat slam every time you wipe. So there's nothing you can do
The movements mark the measure, or the dynamics with feeling and response and it is their job to keep with the beat which is HARDER THAN IT LOOKS OKAY?
Im not in an orchestra but im in band and in some songs we have a stop (idk the name) and you have to look at the constructer to tell us when we can start playing again also in band, the conductor is to remember the metronome because in band we practice about 4 songs for 3 months and even with the muscle memory we will either slow down or speed up. The only thing muscle memory helps with is playing the notes.
the reason the conductor is there for orchestras is so the beat is correct, this is still important for pro orchestras, as their timing is down to the demi hemi semi quaver, the conductor is also there for all of the rehersals to make desisions of how to interpret the music written.
As an orchestra player, the conductors are basically our clocks and keep us on time since often times during songs there are multiple measure (measures are like musical sentences or paragraphs) breaks and counting even a millisecond too fast or slow could cause the entire orchestra to screw up and subsequently crash and burn or just sound bad

Heres the thing a bout conductors aka the person that waves around the stick. When the wave around the stick they tell which instrument group should play and most of the time the audience doesnt known what the conductor is saying this is because there is no conductor language they just tell the groups of instruments what they mean when they wave. And also for brass woodwind ect instruments the conductor waves the stick to tell which pitch/note to play
Orchestra conductors the little stick each time they tap it on the air is a beat for a quarter note so that’s one way they use they tell you when to play who to play what to play sometimes even how to play
