The Hetzer was my first "OP" tank ever when I was a noob. I remember grinding for days to get it for only like 3.5k experience. And then grinding for the 105mm. It took me a few days but when I got it and started 1 shoting Type 91s it felt amazing. I felt like the best in the world even though I had like a 46% winrate. Those were the days... I wasn't looking to increase my winrate or damage or complete missions. I was just playing for fun.
Also, the best thing about lower tier games is the random, non-optimized play. I tend to feel higher tiers tend to follow the same pre programmed pattern, which I find dull. (all the heavies go to location X on this map, and pixel snipe until one makes a mistake, lights go to Y location, TD's go to Z position, etc.)

How I found your channel? Most likely from some 2013 Tank "review" video when I was figuring out what tank line to go down or what premium to buy. Yeah might have been the "World of Tanks || T34 - CREDIT BEAST" video.
I found the channel on a whim. A few Christmas' ago I couldn't sleep and thought about a documentary I had watched that featureds tanks. I remembered WoT existed as I had played on console years ago, and thought "I wonder if there is much of a cimmunity" and I found one of your videos on UA-cam about it and started watching. Downloaded it the next day and have played in large bursts ever since
Man, I remember when the hetzer could 1 shot tier 3-5 at full hp and I remember getting my first kolobanov medal in. The only thing that could kill a hetzer, was literally another hetzer. I remember a lot of Matilda players hated going against the hetzer cause the hetzer was able to one shot them with the HEAT rounds (before the HE nerf and low tier hp buff)Now, it’s once in a blue moon to be able to 1 shot a tier 4 especially with these HE nerf and low tier health boost.
Thanks QB, I'd not played this tank in a while went and played three games, won two but all three were still fun. I love this tank, 66% win rate in it! Cheer from Tokyo!
Honestly I don't feel guilty playing low tiers anymore since the matchmaker "most" of the time will pit me against experienced players as well. 80% of the players will most likely be one with more than a couple thousand games. Besides, low tiers are always fun, no need to be sweaty tryhards, and you can mess around all you want.
Hey QB, i just wanted to give you a BIG BIG Thanks for all the content you published and all the time you spent creating it. I think that i can speak for your entire community when i say that we love you, and even though your views (and those of many other WoT Content Creators on youtube) decreased in the last couple of weeks, there is still a huge amount of tankers that love watching every single video that you upload.. Again, thank you very much and keep it up❤👍
I don't play low tier much anymore, but I did keep my Pz 2 G because It was such a strange tank. Wildly inaccurate, but able to pen a KV 1 in the face. You have to play close enough to hit, but far enough away to deal with a 15 sec reload. I found you when you were playing with Jingles.
How I found you? Forget which tank but it was definitely a guide video for a specific tank. Been a long time my dude thanks for all the content. You are a goat in video gaming content!
I like playing low tier light tanks cos there it feels much more like you can actually play as a scout. At high tiers, especially tier X, everyone has god tier view range so you get spotted much more easily.
Just picked up the Hetzer this week and sloooowly learning it (along with everything else). Grinding out the modules now and hoping I will get to be half as good as you with it.
It was so long ago - I think I found you through Jingles - of course, I was a beta player, and have watched you since the tanks were glued to the ground and it was all invisible walls. I admit I don't play these days, but I do enjoy watching the occasional good game to see how the game is developing.
When my friend brought me back to the game after years of neglecting my account, she suggested me to check out some YT videos. I didn't like the ones she suggested, buf then I found you and I just clicked with your content. You were also the first Twitch streamer I started to follow.
I was playing this tank today trying to get the crew trained up. I had 9 kills and there was only one enemy left, a T6 Medium. We both had about 25hp left, so we were each a one shot. In the end the more maneuverable T6 was able to shut me down for the win. It was sad to lose, but I did get my first Ace for this tank in that battle!
I have loved Hetzers 105mm + 60mm front armor combo for years. It has a great camo rating on top of that and is fairly mobile, rotating quick and driving quite fast. It literally has only one disadvantage, the view range. Back then it was even better, as more tanks could be one shot (I believe there was some across the board HP increase, and increase in ammo capacity as well) and even non-pens would cripple enemies, taking huge chunks of HP, destroying modules and killing crew. Nowadays its OP, back in the day it was almost a god. They tried to nerf it and move it out of the tree so that less people realize its potential, but to no avail :D
How did I find the QB UA-cam Channel? I *think* it was through Jingles' channel some years ago when you you two, plus maybe a 3rd? played together. Been a long time in either case.
hetzer used to be one of ˝those˝ tanks back in the day , i remember one of my friends always saying how it had an ugly eye (when looking at the hetzer from the front it looks as if it has one eye closed while the other is open the eyes being the hatch and the gun mantlet)
I think for me it was an AMX ELC bis replay that you featured, back in the day when it was cool. I still remember the name of the player, was something like "Sandhu Bujigai", so inspiring
Wahey! Hetzer gonna hetz! Good to see, haha! As for how I found you, I believe I found you through Jingles. It was back in the day when I first started watching WoT content and was looking at other creators (you, Circon etc). Such a long time ago, yeesh! We're gettin' old my dude!
I found your youtube channel thanks to the Mighty Jingles. And i am so happy you finally played the Hetzer. Though i must say in matchmaking on wot it often puts me against stronger tanks wich s*uks sadly. Thanks Quicky baby 😇
I started following your channel when you released the video in which amx elc bis was trolling the enemies on tundra. Oh and btw couldn't understand a single English word back then so... Ty qb
As they removed rammer for Hetzer I play it with vents, turbo and the 5% camo thing. It is better to increase its mobility. View range is not needed when ur using derp gun and binos are just for that static game play that is only useful against Tier VI.
The other thing great about Crew 2.0 is that tanks no longer have different number of crew members in them. No more punishment when you move crews from one tank to another. In addition, with the last test Crew 2.0 lets a crew train for up to three tanks. It's such a big improvement from the current system.
is the conversion rate still completely fcked up, tho? Cos that was probably one of the biggest reason Crew 2.0 was hated when it was first announced. Currently you are quite competitive with a crew which has 3-4 skills. But with the conversion the same Crew wasn't nearly as competitive anymore and you would have to put a ridicolous amount of xp into it to get it to same level again. Plus I remember there were some horrible p2w aspects to it with Bonus ranks or some sh.t like that. If all those things are still there currently, then yes, Crew 2.0 still sucks heavily unless you are a Whale.
I don't remember when i first started watching your videos, i don't remember if i found you or jingles first, but i know i found the two of you in quick succession. Don't remember what prompted me to watch your videos since i had not even heard of WoT at the time, but i think it was around 2014.
I still remember getting a KV-1S to land 3 back to back bounces on my hetzer, just by backing up on a slope... it was back, bounce, forward, derp him, rinse and repeat haha he must have raged so bad. Back then when the KV-1S was THE tier 6 beast
Oh yes, the OP-1S, able to fight in a 1 vs 1 vs an IS-3 and win haha. That tank was so damn broken...that time when also the monstrosity called WT Auf E-100 caused Chaos at tier X and arty had insane AP rounds.
Huh, finally , I can relate to Quickybaby - I once got 10 kills using a Hetzer, in a platoon with friends some years ago, but it was a rental as i wasn't doing the German line at the time (I did German + USA in the beta test, largely avoided those lines afterwards). Great tank, great game, well done. I'm on Asian server as Big Red Tomato (since that's what I am).
who else remember the "hetzer gonna hetz" days of closed beta? i have such fond memories from back then, unlike now where i hate the devs and hate the game and barely play it because it's stupid now.

I really don't know how did i find your channel, i've been playing the game since early beta so many many you tube videos were in those years : D
This was one of my favorite low tier tanks. Love the Hetzer!!!
I found your channel through the old hetzer video.
almost read filthy frank in the thumbnail
That video of hetzer 1vs10 randomly appearing in my youtube feed is the reason why i started playing wot in 2014 christmas, thanks QB
Again, thank you very much and keep it up❤👍
First ever video I have watched fr QB was Hetzer 1v10 it is so nostalgic
I found you thanks to a video about the super perusing before it was realized it was super long ago
I don't play low tier much anymore, but I did keep my Pz 2 G because It was such a strange tank. Wildly inaccurate, but able to pen a KV 1 in the face. You have to play close enough to hit, but far enough away to deal with a 15 sec reload. I found you when you were playing with Jingles.
that thing still has the 3cm auto gun right? I think it has 98mm of pen. maybe the nerfed it from the good old days down to 60-80
@@tacomas9602 still 95 pen, I think gold is 110.
There’s a button that you can press that will show you the health of enemy tanks when they were last spotted
That's because the maps are not fit for high tier tanks, it's frustrating. So many matches played on Mines with tier 10..
@@xgmode true. We need larger maps for high tiers.
"some kind of account protection" its called skill based matchmaking
Just picked up the Hetzer this week and sloooowly learning it (along with everything else). Grinding out the modules now and hoping I will get to be half as good as you with it.
Awesome gameplay there are many good, fun lower tier tanks to play, nothing wrong with enjoying them.
The "Valley". LOLOL
It is a P A S S.
It was so long ago - I think I found you through Jingles - of course, I was a beta player, and have watched you since the tanks were glued to the ground and it was all invisible walls. I admit I don't play these days, but I do enjoy watching the occasional good game to see how the game is developing.
Your video of the hetzer 8 years was the reason I downloaded WoT, still playing now.
Ofcours we hope you play the hetzer again but then against stronger tanks and show us how to play that 😁
I have loved Hetzers 105mm + 60mm front armor combo for years.
God damn this thing has 453 mm of pen guys
I found your channel via friends recommending it
I also found out about your cannel because of that video many years ago
recommendation by mighty jingles
Stug was probably out of ammunition and was just trying to keep you spotted while hiding himself for the Arty.
I love it when I get my hetzer with the derp gun and i see a bunch of 3s in the list.
hetzer used to be one of ˝those˝ tanks back in the day , i remember one of my friends always saying how it had an ugly eye (when looking at the hetzer from the front it looks as if it has one eye closed while the other is open the eyes being the hatch and the gun mantlet)
I found your channel through the Jingles games, or maybe he mentioned you in a video. Either way, you and Jingles are absolute classic lads
We're gettin' old my dude!
nice one ... but don'T underestimate the lowtier gamers ... there are lots of sealcluppers around so challenger can there be too
I found your youtube channel thanks to the Mighty Jingles.
Ty qb
Got this tank years ago & hated it so I sold it. A few thousand games later I bought it back n absolutely loved it!
PS: I found your channel via Jingles.
is the conversion rate still completely fcked up, tho? Cos that was probably one of the biggest reason Crew 2.0 was hated when it was first announced. Currently you are quite competitive with a crew which has 3-4 skills. But with the conversion the same Crew wasn't nearly as competitive anymore and you would have to put a ridicolous amount of xp into it to get it to same level again. Plus I remember there were some horrible p2w aspects to it with Bonus ranks or some sh.t like that.
If all those things are still there currently, then yes, Crew 2.0 still sucks heavily unless you are a Whale.
@@robinkhn2547 Is a Manticore competitive with a 3 skill crew? No, only crews with 5-6 members are can play with 3 skills. Crew 2.0 evens that out.
@@tambarlas5248 yeah light tanks are a little bit of an exception. But for most tanks having a 3 skilled crew is already sufficient to be competitive.
i believe i found your channel by seeking for WoT videos around 9 years ago and stumbled across videos from your old channel
I'll never forget encountering this vehicle when I first started playing. I really couldn't figure out where to pen it!
I’ve had a few 9 to 10 kill games in the Hetzer but my fav was a 6/6 shot Top Gun game with 6 100% hit point one shot kills
Amazing upload)
Both your channel and your game were different 5 years ago, most of us miss those good old days :)
The derp gun
As Jingles says, "Hetzer`s gotta Hetz!"
I am reminded of my time on WoT console, and how Sixth Sense worked there. Everybody had a “Sixth Sense” skill, per se. And actual Sixth Sense was more for if you’re getting aimed at? I think? That’d be neat, I bet
Found your channel after watching Jingles vid's. I was looking for a tank simulator game and his youtube popped up in a search. Watched him then you and then the twitch live streams, been enjoying WOT ever since.
I believe I found your channel after watching Jingles. I was searching for a new game to play and I had started to watch WOT videos to see if it was worth while.
I found your channel way back when you used to play with the Mighty Jingles. He featured a bunch of the games you guys had together on his channel so that's how I found you!
You can thank Jingles for pointing me your way, and I've never looked back.
