Thank you for sharing your thoughts, your testimonies; and for sharing those beautiful murals. Minerva is so blessed and wise to do those paintings in the Manti temple. I think she wanted to depict the peoples whose writings are included in the Book of Mormon, which principles if we follow will lead us to God.

The explanation of our days in chapter eight it’s so clear that you can actually see members doing and following the false doctrines from the enemy so blindly, on that prophetic quote that even the elect will be deceived. Good work by Sister Wilson and Brother Welch on this part of the 2024 Come, Follow Me.

Terrific context for Ether. I felt like I was in graduate school this morning. Thank you.

I had a nightmare trying to utter in the name of Jesus Christ I command you to leave. Apparently, I utter out loud because it scared my dog, and he was barking, trying to wake me up. He kept looking at my face. I now keep my Book of Mormon with at my side and read a verse before going to sleep.

I'm thinking the Jaredites took some herbal remedies for nausea with them! They were prepared in every other way, so seems sensible.

Honey bees were not brought across to the new world. They were only transported within the old world. Honey producing bees were native to the new world.

They have found stone walls in North America, the "Montana Megaliths", that are very similar to the megaliths in Peru.

I love that you are both teaching me truths about the Jaredites I have never thought of before. However, it seems like you are not working as a harmonious team. Lynne is having to force her comments in between John’s expertise. Also, John often is looking up and off to the side, probably looking at a clock.

@donseegmiller7759 Hello, I actually think these two dedicated disciples of Christ work wonderfully as team teachers. I love to hear them both, and they enrich my learning. I guess we are all different, and having different perspectives, each of us comes away with a different conclusion. We are all leaning and hopefully changing for the better, but in my view, they are great just the way they are. I am grateful for their time and dedication. This podcast, for me, is invaluable.

Perhaps they sailed from Korea?? ... what is that scripturally based on?

@@ROBINLINDSEY-hi5 He says “perhaps”. I don’t think it based on any scriptural reference. He’s proposing a possibility based on known ocean currents.

The scholars were making assumptions based on currents.
