I use the ATEM with an iPad and a BMD Hyperdeck. Covers all my bases.

Thanks so much for this video. Very well explained and really helpful information. I was wondering where on your ATEM mini Pro does the "Computer: Control Switcher (edit stream)" part from your diagram connect to? Is it on one of the HDMI inputs? Is it via ETHERNET cable? Because you have your HDMI output connected to the Blackmagic external monitor, and you have the USB C output connected to an SSD to record. This is the perfect setup for me and was just wondering how to achieve the same! Really appreciate your time, thank you again for a great video.

Great video! I’ve been thinking of getting this but I don’t know how to connect my sound. I use a 18 channel digital mixer. Behringer X-AIR18 and it connects normally to the computer as a soundcard with USB and then out through OBS Studio. How do I use it with the ATEM MINI Pro?

You can connect from an 1/4” and concert to 1/8” into the ATEM. Would need to make sure it is set to line rather than mic.

Can you set an iPad to show in 1080 as opposed to the square aspect ratio? If so how?

You can use Keynote to change the aspect ratio from square to wide.
