Quadratic Formula:
x = (-b ± √[b² - 4ac]) / 2a
The slope is denoted by the change in the y axis in respect to x-axis NOT the angle.

I mean she isn't entirely wrong... you can technically use the "slope" (derivative) to find an approximated solution to a quadratic equation.
(Using Newton's method or fixed point iteration, but it could fail on some cases)

I think u find the circumference by using the slope the find the radius of the circle and then use the radius and apply it onto the 2 x pi x radius to then find the circumference. Or maybe i am just talking out of my ass who knows
