I always been a fan of his I seen a doc of his when he got drafted. I draft him every year in fantasy if I get the chance. Last year he killed it for me won me $2k. I’m just sad his talents are going to be wasted in Vegas
I taught at McLain, Josh was too smart to be in my reading class & he told me after trip to Bama how ppl were shocked he didn't want to go see the 'facilities' -he asked they show him the Engineering department ❤ Never forget how he ran the ball, playing QB he was like a hot knife thru butter-go watch his highlights he put out that Sr spring when no one called-there went Josh like smooth silk making everyone on the field look like they were in slow motion.😂 Josh is still a McLain Titan today!
thank you for teaching there ... I don't think a lot of people watching this video understand just how difficult it had to be for him. to be homeless, going to McLain and make it to where he is today ... legitimately one in a million. would be luckier buying a lotto ticket. north Tulsa is no joke, if u can make it out of there, u can make it out of anywhere
Truly blessed. My heart is with Josh and his family, especially his dad, MUCH RESPECT. I too am a father who has custody of his 11 year old boy, and even though times get really hard, I cannot imagine a day without doing all in my power to make sure my boy is well. God bless, to Josh and his family, this story really made my day.
😢 Every time someone comes from a humble beginnings my heart always soft. I know he’s dad was a believer in him for a better life for them all and he delivered. Well I wish you the best young man, family is everything.
That’s awesome what he did for his dad. His dad did everything he could to take care of him and now him and his dad live a comfortable lifestyle not having to worry to much about money. I’m a Bills fan and really wanted Josh during free agency because I felt like he could change the offense with his skill set but now I’m an even bigger fan of him and what he’s been through in his life.
heres something worth noting,,,, for a change a black FATHER was acknowledged for helping josh become the man he is,,, not a single mother this seldom happens,,,,and im not talking about just sports per se,,,,,,
Great video and story and good that he did right by his Father through all that he sacrificed for his children. I always drafted Josh Jacobs on my fantasy football team, but I became a big follower now after hearing his story and transition through life. Anything is possible, don't give up.
Josh Jacob's just gained a new supporter, my God. What a story! Keep pushing folks bc life will life, but hard work and perseverance will get you there. Thank you, Jesus, for being a guiding life and giving him these abilities to play a sport that changes lives!!!
Man o man. If ANYone Evvvvvvaaa say it ain't so..I'm gonna punch them in theeee face. God be the Glory, I have tears in my eyes from the very beginning. We as people truly take things for granted oh so often. As the commentator said, from sleeping in a car to a hella nice house and he still has his father to support him. God is real. His excellence is not by accident. I'd love to meet the brother. We all have a unique story, one step @ a time can and will take anyone to the top...much respect and honor to you my king. Yo to the Nupes!
I am this young man’s biggest fan. He is an inspiration and outstanding human being. I wish young fella nothing but the very best this life has to offer.. He is a good human being and incredible person. 🫡 young man
McLain HS class of ‘10. Anytime I see a video of him, Shaun Jackson, Prentice Elliott, etc. I get excited because I know them personally and am a proud Alumni. Didn’t play football in college but got my Bachelor’s of Science degree in nutrition.
Wow!, I have the utmost respect for Josh for persevering and having an unwavering focus. I also have the greatest respect for his father who not only raised his children in such a tough environment, but also instilled hard work, focus, and toughness in Josh and his siblings. I am a Titans fan, but I will always be rooting for Josh Jacobs unless he is going against the Titans.
I'm a huge RB fan. I have always followed the careers of the greats. Being a Raiders fan and having last years best RB was a dream. If only it translated to more wins 😔. JJ is so fun to watch, and I hope we pay him what he deserves. It's sad that RBs are undervalued in the NFL, and QBs are being overpaid. Overpay for one player and other positions suffer. Thank you for this video.
Hard to argue that, the running back supply is overly saturated though. Not enough QB’s to meet the demand of desperate teams paying QB’s that don’t deserve half the money they’re getting paid haha.
He was a beast in highschool. He tore up my school. There was no doubt he was the best player on the field. He had a good arm too and was a pretty good QB.
Sad that his high schools never showed this lid in any media. Tjis is really ssd. Kudos to this coach exposed this 💎 God bless his Dad. God bless this kid.
I played against him his senior year of high school. Our whole scouting report about McClain was to keep him inside. I will never forget their second play on offense when we contained him he cut so hard inside and juked out the three linebackers for a 60 yard touchdown. At halftime I’m tried to convince our coach we didn’t even need to cover the receivers because they just didn’t matter when he was on the field. I think he ended the game with like 5 touchdowns and 500+ yards. Only reason we won was because it was raining and they would constantly bobble the snap to him.
Still miss Aaron Jones, but i feel that we got the right person to fill up the spot. Thanks for the interesting background video, and greetings from Austria. #GoPackGo
Just like his paternal grandmother's compatriot, Manny Pacquiao, who was also homeless and slept on the sidewalk, because of tenacity, perseverance, the will to live, and hardwork, had made it big and successful in the world of sports. ❤❤❤
Huge raiders fan here my name is ironically Jacob so when he got drafted I was already a huge fan so no matter if jacobs leaves the raiders or stays with them I’ll always be a jacobs fan
If he would've been getting what he deserved financially in college he could've been took care of his dad n family cause if he got hurt in college we wouldn't have heard of him
Great story. Ziegler could resend his franchise tag of 10 million? 3 time All Pro Dalvin Cook was cut from Viking at 11 million has set the running back market. Ziegler can always make a deal to sign Cook now he a free agent at 8 or 9 million a year. Good luck Jacobs on a better deal hope he doesn't mess up receiving 10 million from Ziegler on hope of a 3 year deal that may not come? Jacobs has not signed yet... Al Davis, did not like a player to out shine the Raiders, just ask Marcus Allen.
In 2019 They wanted to make a movie about his life But he said not yet 🥶
I am now forever a Josh Jacobs fan. I wish him all the success he desires.
I always been a fan of his I seen a doc of his when he got drafted. I draft him every year in fantasy if I get the chance. Last year he killed it for me won me $2k. I’m just sad his talents are going to be wasted in Vegas

Thank you for sharing that with us! It must've been special moments and memories with one of the game's best.
Roll tide folks!
thats refreshing to hear

And my most popular experience was on TV at a NHL GAME 🏒
THE WORLD IS A GAME OF LIFE. JOSH STORY IS SO WELL DESERVED. KEEP MOVING FORWARD YOUNG MAN.

There are so many tragic stories in the world...Josh Jacob's story is amazing, very happy for his dad and family.

This is why I love Alabama's college football team and that excellent coach Saban. EMBRACE EXCELLENCE AND HARD WORK ALWAYS.
Great video and story and good that he did right by his Father through all that he sacrificed for his children. I always drafted Josh Jacobs on my fantasy football team, but I became a big follower now after hearing his story and transition through life. Anything is possible, don't give up.

Still miss Aaron Jones, but i feel that we got the right person to fill up the spot.
Thanks for the interesting background video, and greetings from Austria.
#GoPackGo
Jacobs is a really good back, he didn't really put his all into his last year with the Raiders, but he should do well with you guys.
Dang that’s crazy I have a brother named josh
Wow
Cool story bro
@@Therealjoeburrow 😂

Crazy 🔥🔥🔥content
I never knew that Jacobs was homeless!
Sad fact, but 100% inspirational that he overcame.
Just like his paternal grandmother's compatriot, Manny Pacquiao, who was also homeless and slept on the sidewalk, because of tenacity, perseverance, the will to live, and hardwork, had made it big and successful in the world of sports. ❤❤❤
He said I’m not going back, they gunna have to kill me , I’m running that ball.
1:27 yooo that’s my school I was on that field I was #77 THATS CRAZY!!
Please Mr Davis PAY THIS MAN....
What a story!
☆☆☆☆☆
😎
Huge raiders fan here my name is ironically Jacob so when he got drafted I was already a huge fan so no matter if jacobs leaves the raiders or stays with them I’ll always be a jacobs fan
Hell yeah!
W dad
North side Finest’s!
For someone who was supposedly homeless he's turning down 10 million for one year....smh
The running back market is not rewarding. He may be forced to take that. He may be shooting for having more years added to the deal and guarantees.
Raiders need to pay that man
The thumbnail CRAZY ngl.
If he would've been getting what he deserved financially in college he could've been took care of his dad n family cause if he got hurt in college we wouldn't have heard of him
Pay the man.
It's amazing what homelessness will do as far as being a motivation to success. Jim Carrey had that happen to him as well.
Once a Raider, Always a Raider⚪️⚫️☠️
Raider nation!
No he is a packer now.
God made a Way
Josh Jacobs and Darrynton Evans gotta be long lost twins
See USA court system A boy neednto be with his Dad..if he is a good Dad.
Great story. Ziegler could resend his franchise tag of 10 million? 3 time All Pro Dalvin Cook was cut from Viking at 11 million has set the running back market. Just win bby …(pay the man )
