Some personal thoughts: 1. In spite of the fact that Chiaki turns into Baal Avatar,it is still a bit weird that she mostly summoned angels and goetic demons to fight, rather than summoning more demons that are based on Polytheistic faiths. 2.The Reason of Chiaki is best described as “Might makes Right.” You would expect such Reason is closer to the ideals of the Force of Chaos, but she summons angels and goetic demons with angel-like traits inatead.
Your second point also applies to Hikawa. His "his world of stillness" ideal seems Law-aligned, but most demons who join his cause are mostly considered Chaos-aligned (and Ahriman itself is considered a member of the Tyrant Race).
Chiaki supports the idea of a strict hierarchy of power, which was very in line with Law. Hikawa's Reason was more anarchic in nature, which aligned with Chaos's idea of the world.

No, not a stack, just a quick action smash double focus fail. The game doesn't say that you are in a focus state and just overlaps it. This became a later thing in the series.
I never played this game before, but with the other games, how what the Yosuga reason was based off of were what the angels fought desperately against, so here, them fighting for such a world doesn't make any sense to me.
me neither. throughout the franchise, Lucifer has always been the one backing this ideal, and an avatar of his right hand is even this Reason's "god". then again, it may be because these are FALLEN angels, and not true angels like Metatron.
In SMT: Nocturne, the rule of YHVH/Kagutsuchi is through the cycle of creation, destruction and rebirth. The whole game centres on a YHVH/Kagutsuchi-approved process of creating worlds, so the angels are welcome to align themselves with whatever reason they want. Lucifer’s goal is to end the process of ‘YHVH-sponsored destruction and creation’ once and for all, and that’s what he ultimately gets you to do (at least in the context of this one vortex world) in the True Demon Ending.
Lucifer also seems to approve of you picking the Freedom ending (the ending cutscene has some text that seems to be from him, praising you for walking the path of thorns like him, and warning you that YHVH is still out there), which makes sense, as it's another option that refuses to pick a Reason. The thing to understand that even though blind strength is usually a Chaos objective, Law requires equal strength to maintain the stalemate against them, and, when the time comes, destroy their enemies. (Even Neutral requires the ability to destory like this - best shown in SMT4's White Ending). So really, Strength is a property of Law, too.
@@Slyguy846 kinda flies in the face of the argument of "angels not having free will", huh? still, I think the more corrupt designs of the angels in this game are meant to show that they too are fallen. though for some reason, Atlus just keeps on using them....
@@mads_in_zero you know, despite the text being from Lucifer, I feel like the words are ones that Jesus Christ would say. still, given that it probably is Luifer speaking, and YHVH has never been mentioned, then the true enemy must be the Great Will. unfortunately, the whole "strength" argument doesn't really pan out. for the most part, the angels are always portrayed as being weaker than demons, with even Heralds losing out against their demonic counterparts. also, if various dialogue is to be believed, the angels are *against* reckless pursuits of greater strength. so it still makes no sense.

I remember how hard it was for me to defeat this boss back on the PS2. I died so many times.
バアルアバターが古めかしい日本語を使うことによって、「コイツはもう千晶じゃない」って思わせるんだよね。これが日本語の良い所でもあり、ややこしい所でもある。英語が使えたら海外の人にもこの事を教えられるのに。
I some how managed to beat her (on Normal) before she could summon Ose and Flauros. Thought they perhaps removed her 2nd from the HD remaster.
Fun Fact: Though never stated in the English release, Chiaki is actually more than just the MC's friend, but his girlfriend. So she's not just killing your friendship, she's flat out breaking up with you! 💔

And then use Debilitate and Sukukaja and it becomes an easy battle.

Phase 1: You’re seriously trying to intimidate me with your one press turn?
Phase 2: I mean, I definitely shit my pants the first time Ose Hallel used Dragon Eye. Didn’t happen again, but at least it was kind of interesting.
Phase 3: You might as well not even use Beast Eye. Save the MP, we both know you’ll waste that second turn.
i say the hardest boss from all 3 is that Red Commie
wait focus can stacked in hd remastered at 2:20 - 2:33? i just played vanilla version cuz my laptop can't handle it
No, not a stack, just a quick action smash double focus fail. The game doesn't say that you are in a focus state and just overlaps it. This became a later thing in the series.
Is this on the Switch?
Yes on the eshope
@@darkmegazero6722 Thats not what I meant. I was wondering if the og poster was playing this ON the switch

How does she play video games with one arm? Can she even sit in a chair with her...back thing?
There is no place for gamer in chiaki world
hol up did demi-fiend use the masakados magatama here
I never played this game before, but with the other games, how what the Yosuga reason was based off of were what the angels fought desperately against, so here, them fighting for such a world doesn't make any sense to me.
me neither. throughout the franchise, Lucifer has always been the one backing this ideal, and an avatar of his right hand is even this Reason's "god".
then again, it may be because these are FALLEN angels, and not true angels like Metatron.
@@mads_in_zero you know, despite the text being from Lucifer, I feel like the words are ones that Jesus Christ would say. still, given that it probably is Luifer speaking, and YHVH has never been mentioned, then the true enemy must be the Great Will.
unfortunately, the whole "strength" argument doesn't really pan out. for the most part, the angels are always portrayed as being weaker than demons, with even Heralds losing out against their demonic counterparts. also, if various dialogue is to be believed, the angels are *against* reckless pursuits of greater strength. so it still makes no sense.
mfw I realised Ose is vulnerable to Black Rider's Soul Division
Wasn't that not the arm she lost?
